Chapter 335: Rooting Out the Enemy, The Girl in Green!
The crimson shark fang tore through the ancient giant palm, heading straight toward Lin Fan like a deadly comet.
Overwhelming blood energy surged behind it, carrying with it a wave of murderous intent.
As the blood light rapidly expanded in Lin Fan's pupils, his expression grew serious. With a flick of his hand, a crimson furnace appeared before him—it was the Burning Heaven Cauldron.
A vast surge of Yuan Power erupted from within Lin Fan, pouring into the cauldron without reservation.
BOOM! BOOM!
With the force of that infusion, the cauldron rapidly expanded several dozen times in size, and waves of crimson light radiated from its surface.
Lin Fan lifted the cauldron with one hand and smashed it toward the incoming blood-colored light!
BANG!
Crimson brilliance erupted from the furnace, forming a massive crimson pillar of light that tore through space and collided head-on with the incoming blood beam!
CLANG!
At the moment of impact, the world went still. But beneath the calm, the sea exploded in chaos.
RUMBLE! RUMBLE!
Massive waves soared skyward like crashing bombs before slamming down violently into the ocean, creating a torrential downpour across a ten-thousand-meter radius.
Within the storm of rain and fire, the crimson pillar and the blood beam each claimed half the sky, and their terrifying energy waves ravaged the air.
This deadlock lasted for but a breath.
Then—
The blood beam was crushed entirely under the overwhelming force of the crimson pillar!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The sound of its collapse thundered through the heavens.
As the blood light disintegrated at astonishing speed, the figure of Commander Xia reappeared.
But now, his face was filled with pure fear. He had never imagined that even after unleashing the Demon Shark Fang, he would still be defeated—and so thoroughly!
Swish!
Commander Xia's face contorted. In the next instant, his figure retreated like lightning, attempting to flee the battlefield.
He knew the battle was lost. If he didn't escape now, he'd be leaving his life behind.
After witnessing Lin Fan's earlier ruthlessness, he had no doubt that Lin Fan intended to kill him.
"Since you attacked… don't even think of escaping," Lin Fan said coldly, his eyes sharp with killing intent.
As his voice fell, Lin Fan stepped forward—and the space around him twisted.
In a blink, he appeared right in front of the fleeing Commander Xia.
With a flick of his hand, a flaming spear appeared—its tip forming a vortex of fire that radiated a deadly aura.
BOOM!
With a casual thrust, the spear tore through space, streaking toward Commander Xia's heart like a blazing meteor!
"W-Wait! We can talk—!" Commander Xia's face twisted in horror as the spear closed in.
But Lin Fan didn't even blink.
In Commander Xia's terrified gaze, the spear pierced through the void—
Commander Xia's Yuan Power surged wildly. His skin turned into a layer of blood-red scales, forming his strongest defense.
But it was useless.
SHHK!
The flaming spear pierced straight through his defenses and burst from his chest in a flash of crimson flame.
His body froze in place.
Lowering his head slowly, Commander Xia stared at the burning hole in his chest, eyes full of disbelief.
"Y-You… The Blood Demon Shark Tribe… will never—let you…"
Before he could finish, his body exploded into a bloody mist.
Even his soul was consumed by fire—reduced to ashes.
And with that, nearly a hundred elite warriors of the Blood Demon Shark Tribe… had been annihilated by Lin Fan alone.
"All done. Let's go," Lin Fan said as he casually retrieved the Demon Shark Fang, then turned to Lin Dong, who still stood midair, shaken by what he had just witnessed.
"Mm." Lin Dong nodded silently, still stunned by the complete massacre.
Lin Fan smiled and turned into a crimson beam, shooting through the sky.
Lin Dong followed closely behind.
And as the two disappeared, peace once again returned to the surrounding sea.
…
Night fell.
A pale crescent moon hung high in the sky, casting a soft silver glow over the ocean, making the waves shimmer like fish scales.
On a small island somewhere in that sea, a campfire crackled gently.
Lin Fan and Lin Dong sat beside it, a freshly caught fish roasting over the flames, releasing a mouthwatering aroma.
"Here, Brother Lin Fan, eat first," Lin Dong said after a while, handing him a perfectly roasted fish.
Lin Fan nodded and accepted it without ceremony.
Just as he was about to dig in, a soft gulp sounded from the darkness nearby.
"Who's there?"
Lin Dong's expression turned cautious as he stood, his voice sharp.
Both turned their heads toward the source—and were stunned to see a small figure standing atop a tree nearby.
A young girl in a green coat, her big black eyes locked onto the fish in Lin Fan's hand.
She looked quite young—adorably small, with delicate features like a porcelain doll. Her twin pigtails only added to her charm.
If any woman were to see her, they'd probably scoop her up and snuggle her on the spot.
Lin Fan's eyes flickered. He quickly deduced her identity.
She was likely Mu Lingshan, the little princess of the Undying Whale Clan, a unique lifeform born of the Life and Death Ancestral Symbol and the body of the Master of Life and Death.
Her wide, shining eyes darted between Lin Dong and Lin Fan before settling once more on the fish in Lin Fan's hand.
Gulp.
She swallowed again.
Lin Fan chuckled and raised the fish. "Want some?"
"Mm!" she nodded eagerly, then hopped down from the tree with practiced ease, landing beside the fire and staring longingly at the fish.
"Here you go," Lin Fan said with a smile, handing it to her.
"Thank you!" the little girl replied sweetly before snatching the fish and digging in without hesitation.
Lin Dong watched with amusement as she devoured the food, but then his gaze sharpened slightly.
"You're hurt, aren't you?" he asked casually as he turned the other fish over the flames.
"Mm." The green-clad girl nodded, chewing as she spoke. "Some annoying guys caused it."
Lin Fan and Lin Dong exchanged a glance.
Then Lin Fan asked gently, "Do you know who it was that hurt you?"
