Relics of war and violence that had to be isolated, treated—or eliminated.
Tanya von Degurechaff was one of them.
In her own world—a world drowned in the fires of magic, war, and industrial ruthlessness—she was considered both a child prodigy and a death machine. A military genius, but also a mentally unstable executioner of the state's will.
To some, a savior. To others, a demon in human skin.
In her eyes, every life was a calculation. Every decision—a mathematical equation of gains and losses.
But what happens when the orderly world ceases to exist?
What if laws die, governments vanish, and civilization collapses like a house of cards?
What if humanity reverts to a primal state, and morality becomes a luxury?
In such a world, Tanya... no longer stands out as insane.
In such a world, Tanya... is exactly what's needed.
Some will call her the devil.
Others will pray to her like an angel of annihilation.
This is her new world. Not one—but many.
Notes:
(The idea is very simple: what if Tanya were reborn into a post-apocalyptic world? Each chapter will be a standalone oneshot set in a different post-apocalyptic universe.)

Each chapter — a different dimension, a different hell:
Chapter I: "The Eternal Train" (Snowpiercer, movie) – When the cold world literally froze over, Tanya finds her place in the class‑stratified hell of a sealed locomotive.
Chapter II: "Among the Whispers of the Dead" (The Walking Dead) – A world of slow decay knows no tactics. But Tanya does. And she begins to teach others.
Chapter III: "Wolves Among Men" (Days Gone) – Freakers are not as terrifying as organized humans. Tanya leads her own brand of guerrilla warfare among the ruins of civilization.
Chapter IV: "Land of the Saved" (World War Z, book) – In a world wracked by a coordinated global crisis, Tanya becomes the general of the last bastion—not for glory, but for results.
Chapter V: "Desert Queen" (Mad Max) – When oil and water are sacred, and life is worthless, Tanya teaches that the logic of survival is the purest form of power.
Chapter VI: "City of Sin and God" (The Book of Eli)
Tanya arrives in a world where the Bible is a weapon. She meets people fighting for morality and the word of God. To her, it's absurd—but also an opportunity. Does she truly believe in nothing…?
Chapter VII: "Fallout: Atomic Strategy" (Fallout)
In post‑nuclear America, Tanya awakens from a vault. Her cold gaze quickly draws the attention of the Brotherhood of Steel. But does she really want to serve anyone…?
Chapter VIII: "Immortal Winter" (The Long Dark)
Solitude in the Canadian wilderness. Tanya has no enemies—only frost, hunger, and the echo of her own thoughts. This may be her toughest adversary—silence.
Chapter IX: "The Last Enclave" (The Last of Us video game)
Clickers, Cordyceps, inhumanity and the inhumane. Tanya meets Ellie. Their encounter could mean rebirth… or the end of everything.
Chapter X: "I Am Legend" (I Am Legend, 2007)
New York lies deserted, and mutated vampire‑like humans roam at night. Tanya as a lone survivor? Or as the one who builds her own colony—more brutal than the mutants themselves?
Chapter XI: "The Road" (The Road, Cormac McCarthy)
The bleakest version of post‑apocalypse. A gray world where people cannibalize one another and hope is extinct. Tanya as a caretaker of a child in this world? Or the one who shows that logic is stronger than compassion.
Chapter XII: "Children of Men" (Children of Men movie)
Humanity has lost the ability to reproduce. The world sinks into despair. Tanya joins an underground cell—and her merciless efficiency attracts fanatics and survivors alike.
Additionally, her period is late…

Chapter XIII: "Dredd" (movie, 2012)
Mega‑City One—a metropolis where Judges serve as police, judge, and executioner. Tanya as a new "Judge"? Or the one who destroys the system from within? After all, she knows tyranny.
Chapter XIV: "S.T.A.L.K.E.R." (The Zone—Chernobyl)
A mutated Zone full of anomalies and relics. Tanya in Pripyat? She uses her magical/military skills to dominate the stalkers. She may also discover that the Zone… speaks to her?
Chapter XV: "Dead Space"
A space station overrun by Necromorphs. Tanya awakens in a sealed section where bodies still twitch. While the scientists panic, she… conducts the evacuation with icy precision.
Chapter XVI: "Death Stranding"
A shattered America, invisible entities, death linked to explosions. Tanya becomes a courier. But she doesn't just deliver packages—she delivers order. And violence. And taxes. Even if humanity has ended, decent citizens still have to pay taxes.
Chapter XVII: "Oblivion" (movie 2013)
After a war with aliens, Earth is destroyed and people evacuated. Tanya arrives on the surface and begins to suspect that the real enemy wasn't the aliens… but power.
Chapter XVIII: "The 100" (TV series)
One hundred juvenile offenders return to a contaminated Earth. Tanya as one of them? Or as the leader of the "Grounders," who rejects their right to return.
Chapter XIX: "Maze Runner" (movie)
A labyrinth, amnesia, tests. Tanya as a test subject? She quickly takes command, destroys the system, and hunts down its creators. A perfect backdrop for paranoia and psychology.
Chapter XX: "Land of Furs, Forests, and Firearms" (Biomutant)
In a post‑apocalyptic world of anthropomorphic mutants, Tanya encounters a broken civilization—animal factions fighting over Biogen powers. Tanya uses her cold logic to unite or annihilate the factions… for her own gain.
Chapter XXI: "Awakening of Humanity" (Little Tail Bronx)
Tanya never expected anyone to survive after waking from a ten‑thousand‑year cryogenic sleep, especially after what they did during the war.
The war with Juno… was the greatest mistake world leaders ever made. She knew that monstrosity was too dangerous to negotiate with!
The XII Owls… you bloody idealistic bastards thought that Tanya—Global Director of the largest corporation on Earth—would die like that? Ha! Not a chance… She, with her loyal staff (after all, she was an excellent director, offering everyone the chance to join her bunkers built as close to the Earth's core as possible—accepting everyone from her longtime janitor to a clever engineer from Australia—discriminating against no one). In total, more than ten thousand people lived in her bunker, her employees and their families.
Now all that's left is to emerge from the bunkers, settle the new world, and finally let peace embrace my arms…

Chapter XXV: "In Our Shadow" (webnovel comic)

An underwater research base. Tanya awakens as a copy of her own consciousness in a synthetic body. She searches for purpose, for orders—but finds only loneliness.
Chapter XXIX: "Foreign Body in an Alien System" (Scorn)
A Giger‑esque world of biological hell. Tanya wakes up in a labyrinthine carcass where there is no language, only pain. Yet she calculates. She seeks a goal. And becomes a parasite for a new form of life.
Chapter XXX: "Red Empiricism" (Atomic Heart)
In an alternate Soviet Union, 1955. A technological revolution descended into chaos when a network of machines rebelled against humanity.
Tanya arrives as an agent at Facility 3826—she exploits the chaos to seize control, but soon realizes the real enemy is not the robots… but the illusion of utopia.
Chapter XXXI: "Y: The Last Two Brothers, One Ordinary Kid and His War Spokesman" (Y: The Last Man)
In a series where all men except one die, here there are two.
What ironical fate, that when Tanya is reborn as a boy, a sudden pandemic wipes out all men except Tanya (known in this world as Edward) and his older brother.
Tanya steps in to apply wartime experience to the new society—hoping not to end up as a slave who must impregnate everyone. Although why do his classmates look at him like that…

Chapter XXXII: "The Stag and the Wolf" (Sweet Tooth)
Human‑animal hybrids after the catastrophe, small communities, brutal choices. Tanya is born as another mutant—half‑wolf—raised in the wild, far from all the problems of the old world…
