Mason Bennett's brows lifted slightly as he smiled faintly. "If Louis Lawrence really didn't know anything, he wouldn't have deliberately gotten close to you so long ago."
This made Bella Green even more shocked and suspicious.
"You know he approached me on purpose?"
Mason Bennett shook his head. "Before, it was only a guess, but now it looks like he really does know a lot."
The man's eyes darkened, a shadowy light flickering in their depths that no one could see through.
