Chapter 251 - Chapter 249

[World of Extraterrestrial Technological Life.

Description: In this universe, there is an extraterrestrial technological race infiltrating Earth with a specific objective. As humans, how could we possibly let them accomplish it?

Mission: Destroy the invaders, prevent them from completing their objective, and defend Earth. Your rating will be calculated based on your contribution to protecting Earth.]

"Alright, let's destroy the Decepticons." Kaito smiled, recognizing the description.

"So not only do we have to find these invaders, we also have to figure out what they want and stop them? This mission seems pretty difficult."

Upon arriving in the Transformers world, Kaito appeared inside a house he assumed was his, and Heekapoo took on a physical form before comfortably lying down on a couch.

"Alright, I already know all that." Kaito waved his hand dismissively.

"What? How? Could you seriously be a regressor? But I saw in your memories that you laughed to yourself every time someone mentioned that. I assumed you weren't."

"Who knows?" Kaito shrugged.

"You're not going to tell me? Come on, we're one now." Heekapoo said indignantly.

"Speaking of that. What are you going to do now that you're out of the cemetery? Will you bind yourself to something else? We can go check out your world if you want, to see if anything survived." Kaito skillfully changed the subject to something else that interested her, avoiding her question.

"Are you seriously asking that? As if there were a better option than staying anchored to you. As for my world, I don't really care. I just wanted to be free. Although we can go out of curiosity."

"I'm the best option? What about Mashiro?"

"Impossible. Mashiro's mana reserves are immense, but she has absolute control over them. Even if I became her magic, she could still control me like a puppet. Besides, she doesn't need me, she's already extremely good at using her magic.

On the other hand, you're a complete disaster when it comes to using yours, so it's better to stay here." Heekapoo explained.

"Then I guess... welcome?" Kaito raised an eyebrow, unsure whether it was a compliment or an insult. "Let's get along from now on."

"Just not too well. I've seen how most of the girls who get close to you end up."

"Does that bother you?" Kaito raised an eyebrow. "What happened to the rebellious and free Heekapoo I remember? The cemetery really changed you."

"Hah, the cemetery changed me? Don't be ridiculous." Heekapoo replied, offended by the accusation. "I just don't like being tied down to anything, or relationships. If it's just about sleeping with you, we can even do it right now if you want. With a snap of my fingers I can burn this dress away and you'll see me in all my glory. I'm sure I don't lose to any of those girls who sleep with you."

"Let's leave that for another time, I'm in a bit of a hurry right now." Kaito gave in, dropping the argument. "Let's quickly find what the Decepticons are after. I know where it is."

Heekapoo smiled smugly. "Ha, who's the one backing down now?" she said before returning inside Kaito.

...

"So those 'Decepticons' are after whatever they're guarding down there?" Heekapoo observed the dam below them with interest.

"Yeah, the AllSpark, capable of creating mechanical life and giving them almost unlimited energy. It crashed here after a war between the Autobots and the Decepticons over control of it. You can think of the Autobots as the good guys and the Decepticons as the bad guys to simplify things, at least from a moral perspective.

A few years ago, the Decepticon leader, Megatron, located the AllSpark on Earth and came to retrieve it, but ended up crashing in Antarctica and freezing.

Now, both Megatron and the AllSpark are being kept inside a secret military base hidden within this dam." As he explained, Kaito entered the dam effortlessly using his speed, passing through every defense and vibrating through every obstacle.

Meanwhile, Heekapoo was laughing so hard she probably would have had tears in her eyes if she had been in her physical form.

"Hahahaha, frozen? The leader of the evil faction of a technologically advanced alien race got frozen after crashing into Antarctica? Hahaha, how weak can you be?

If he shows up and we just freeze him again, won't he get incredibly mad? Hahaha! We could even do it right in front of the other Decepticons so they lose their minds and attack without thinking."

'Finished?' Kaito asked.

"Wait, I have another complaint." Heekapoo stopped laughing for a moment, took a deep breath, then continued.

"Hahahaha, are humans stupid? The world is huge, there must be millions of military bases. Why would they keep the giant alien robot and the alien technological artifact so close together?

Hahaha, even if they don't know they're related, if two advanced technological objects crash onto Earth, shouldn't they at least suspect there's some connection?"

"Who are you?!"

"This is a restricted area! How did you get in here?!"

"Hands up!"

"Raise your hands and step back! Get on the ground! Do you hear me?! Get on the ground or we'll shoot!"

While Heekapoo simply laughed at the absurdity of a plot held together by giant awesome robots fighting each other, Kaito reached the area where the AllSpark was stored.

Although he could have taken it without anyone noticing, Kaito deliberately revealed himself to the scientists and guards in the area.

Ignoring their threats and panicked shouting, Kaito approached the metallic cube covered in intricate unknown patterns at the center of the room and placed one hand on it.

"Let go of that!!! Damn it. FIRE!!!"

"OPEN FIRE!!!"

Seeing that Kaito ignored all of their threats despite being surrounded by armed personnel and continued walking forward, everyone lost their patience and opened fire. Not only the surrounding guards, but even the scientists had their own weapons.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Kaito's body began moving at incredible speed, becoming nothing but a blur. His body seemed to multiply as he effortlessly dodged every bullet while moving in place.

'You can withstand 65 tons of force, but you still have to dodge bullets?'

'Do you know how much concentrated power is inside those tiny bullets? It's fifty times greater than 65 tons of static force. Besides, regenerating wouldn't be nearly as intimidating.' Kaito complained.

He could ignore the damage from the bullets, but he couldn't prevent them from affecting him.

'Then at least catch the bullets. It'll look more imposing if your goal is to intimidate them.' Being inside his mind, Heekapoo knew exactly what Kaito was doing.

'Fine.' Kaito sighed mentally.

What had looked like hundreds of afterimages merged back into one the moment his body stopped moving.

Of course, that didn't stop the bullets, but Kaito began moving his hands instead of his body, catching each and every bullet.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity to the terrified people present, they ran out of ammunition.

They waited in terror for the smoke from the countless gunshots and impacts to clear. When it finally did... there was nobody there.

"Where is he?"

"I-is he dead?"

"He has to be. It's impossible to survive that."

"But what if he just left? Did you see how fast he was?"

"What was that thing? He moved at incredible speed and dodged our bullets effortlessly."

"Could he be... an alien?" one of them said uncertainly, all of them aware of what was being researched there.

"Maybe they came for the cube?" another replied uncertainly.

Their whispers were interrupted by the sound of small objects hitting the floor one after another behind them.

When they turned around, they found Kaito standing there with one hand extended, dropping small objects onto the ground.

Although they were confused at first, they quickly realized what they were.

"I-impossible! He caught our bullets. What kind of speed is that?"

"Who are you? What do you want from us?"

"What do I want from you?" Kaito walked forward slowly, and every scientist hurriedly stepped aside in terror.

"Obviously this." He said, lifting the cube with one hand again. The moment he touched it, it emitted a light blue glow through its patterns before almost instantly going dark again.

"You can't touch that, that's..."

"I didn't ask for your permission, did I?" Kaito interrupted him.

"N-no, sir." The scientist replied in immediate fear.

"Good. Now I'm taking this with me. Tell your superiors that if they want to come after me, I'll be waiting at the Statue of Liberty."

"O-our superiors? W..." The scientist never finished his question. Kaito was already moving at tremendous speed, vibrating so intensely that he resembled a blurry ghost with glowing red eyes.

Right before everyone's eyes, the intruder who had shrugged off all their bullets and even caught them without breaking a sweat began sinking into the ground.

"H-he's gone. Thank God."

"I'm alive? I'm alive!!!"

"Chief Scientist!"

"What is it?" asked the scientist who had just "confronted" Kaito.

"Isn't the thing beneath us...?" He never finished speaking because halfway through, the chief scientist's face had already turned into one of pure horror.

"Oh, no."

BOOM!

The next second, an explosion echoed throughout the facility, shaking the entire structure as alarms blared and flashing red lights illuminated the entire base.

[WARNING!!! WARNING!!!

SECURITY BREACH IN SECTOR 7.

THE EXPERIMENTAL SUBJECT HAS DISAPPEARED. I REPEAT. THE EXPERIMENTAL SUBJECT HAS DISAPPEARED. WE ARE FACING AN UNKNOWN ENEMY BEYOND OUR CAPABILITIES.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL!]

...

"But don't you have that ability that prevents any kind of attack from entering your body? The bullets wouldn't have pierced you anyway, right?" Heekapoo asked.

"You're still on about that? Even if they couldn't pierce me, the sheer number of them would've pushed me back at least a little." Kaito replied, already tired of the topic.

"And isn't that even better? Compared to someone who shrugs off bullets completely, someone who only gets pushed back a few centimeters is far more impressive. It's all about putting on a show."

"I guess you're right. I'll do that next time. Now stop talking about it already."

"Fine then. So, why do you need that?"

Heekapoo asked while looking at the enormous ten meter tall robot that Kaito was carrying with his telekinesis, a level of control far too complex to be described with that single word.
