*******Harper's pov
I didn't feel surprised when my mom told me that I was pregnant.
It was Kael's child.
I didn't know how to feel about my father as well.
Darius.
Turns out, Ravenna and Seraphina had summoned him when I couldn't break free from seraphine's spell.
He was definitely a better father. I still didn't know why he and Ellis separated. They acted so awkwardly around each other.
Zareth, on the other hand had decided to become a professor in the human world. He had a human girl that he was attached to. He wanted to be by her side and protect her as she had just been reborn.
Natalie and vaelthor were now expecting another child.
Her belly was not as big as mine though. I was a few months earlier than her.
I was completely emotionless now but before that happened, I made sure I secured my child's happiness. I prepared a gift for each of its birthdays. I knew I might not care about it soon. I had maids that'll take care of its every need. I didn't know the gender yet.
I was growing weak everyday, the baby was feeding in my energy.
I made sure to write down my experience for it to know what itsmother has gone through.

Three months later
"Harper, please push!"
Ellis begged Harper anxiously.
Harper was very weak and has lost a lot of blood yet the baby wasn't coming out. She was visibly tired already and was ready to quit.
"Harper please! You have to push. For your baby!".
Harper groaned and a teardrop fell from her eyes as she screamed in pain.
Soon, the sounds of a baby crying was heard.
"Oh! It's a girl".
"A girl?".

"A girl?".
I looked at the little thing that just came out of me.
I felt hot tears streamed down my cheeks and I closed my eyes.
"Take her". I told Ellis. "Take care of her".
"What?". Ellis was confused.
"Hold on, look at her eyes!". Ellis's attention shifted to the midwife.
'The baby's eyes is golden!'
"What?". Ellis's surprise was evident.
"Harper!". Ellis screamed as I succumbed to darkness.

Kael held his chest feeling a strange pain in his heart. His eyes suddenly flickered and turned golden.
"Whoa! Kaellion! Your eyes". A dead soul said to him.
His eyes flickered again and turned to it's normal crimson red .
"Something has definitely happened, but what?". Kael wondered.
********************Harper's pov
Sixteen years later**
Sixteen years later, I lived to see my daughter's birthday.
She was so happy. She blew out her cake in excitement as Ellis and Darius sang the loudest.
They may not be the best parents but they were the best grandparents.
My daughter didn't really like me though.
Why would she?
Her mother didn't care about most of the important things going on in her life.
Her mother was too busy ruling the witch and demon realm simultaneously and her mother didn't care enough.
I didn't know how to explain how much my Aurelia means to me. I couldn't explain why I don't know how to express my emotions to her. It was time for her to read the book I had written. She was finally of age to do so.
I watched from afar as she jumped excitedly when the maids gave her the book. That was her sixteenth birthday gift I had prepared for her
She still ran to me and hugged me. I couldn't bring myself to reciprocate. The feeling was strange to me.
"Thanks mummy".
She said awkwardly and ran back to meet her grandparents. Ellis looked at me with pity in her eyes .
She came to me, "you've been through too much dear".
"It's nothing". I went back to my work. Keeping myself busy was all I could do.

Yeah, she is. My little girl raised me from the dead when I had her. Her little hands brought me right back to consciousness and that's why she's my light. My Aurelia.

A few days later after Aurelia's birthday, she sneaked out of the castle.
Her mother was too strict and wouldn't let her go out by herself so she decided to sneak out.
She had heard a lot about the human world and would also like to see Uncle Zareth.
She looked around to make sure nobody was watching her. She didn't possess any powers at all, there was nothing unique about her so she was sure that she'll fit perfectly in the human world. The only thing unique about her was her golden eyes which her mother always casted a spell on to change its color to brown.
She tiptoed and stole the keys from a sleeping guard.
She walked further and could see the portal which only opens once in a blue moon ahead.
She runs excitedly towards it and then....
THUD
Someone fell on her. She stood up annoyed, and looked at the person. It was a boy , he was her age and he ....was human?
"How did you get in here?". She said to him but he just ran away .
"Hey! Where are you.....?...noooooo!"
The portal closed.
Aurelia sighed in disappointment and turned to leave when....
"Hey there. I can open the portal for you, you know".
"What? You can?". Aurelia turned back to see who had spoke to her. It was a man.
He looked awfully familiar.
He looked...like her?!
"Who are you?". Aurelia asked him.
"Doesn't matter. Don't you want to go?". He said as he flicked his hand and the portal opened.
Aurelia was too excited to question and dashed through the portal.
The man watching her leave chuckled th n he said...."I can see you, don't worry, you can go too ".
The boy who had crashed into Aurelia slowly came out of a nearby bush and ran through the portal as well.
The man sighed.
"I'm back". He said.
