Garrett's POV
The dressing room chaos.
The lies.
The threats.
Everything.
It all felt like one giant avalanche rolling downhill, and somehow I had helped push the first stone.
Chloe had a plan. A really crazy one. One I never agreed to. Not until I heard of Casey's threat. She actually threatened Zoe not to show up for the competition.
That wasn't fair. It was wickedness at its peak. This competition meant a lot to Zoe. It was everything to her. I mean, if she didn't show up, it would have meant everything had been for nothing. It would ruin her. And I couldn't let that happen to her. I literally felt like the weight of guilt was pressing down on me like a stone.
There was no time to waste. I needed to think fast.
Zoe was spiraling. She was practically losing it. To make things worse, she and Brandon were having a really serious fight. She could barely stand him. And when I realized what the fight was all about, I didn't believe it.
