[3rd POV]
After team RWBY had left once they had found the books they had wanted, Wanda was left alone in the store for a little while longer.
The group of four had bought books similar to what they had the first time they had bought books from her. Ruby had bought books involving blacksmithing, weapons development, and other areas similar to that. She had also bought a book on silver eyes that Wanda ended up making after she had visited last time.
She had several books of varying levels of difficulty that she had made after the last visit. Ranging from simply making weapons out of the silver light that came from their eyes. To imbuing their semblances with the silver light, massively boosting the power of the semblance in return. And at the peak was things like imbuing their very body with the silver light, making every minor touch harmful for them.
Wanda was pretty happy to see that the girl had chosen the starter book, as it would go a long way to helping her grow in power. At the same time, it would get her closer to the level where she would be able to receive the gift that Wanda had promised to give her, should she reach a level of mastery over it.
Yang ended up choosing more books on martial arts, this time most of them were alien in nature, and would be very helpful in the future, as most of the techniques inside could be adapted to the usage of aura.
At the same time, she had also bought a book on aura based martial arts, yet another one that Wanda had made herself. It was an incredibly powerful book that explained some very in depth techniques in regards to Aura manipulation and usage.
It was probably the best book in aura in the shop, and Yang didn't even realize that she had grabbed it. It was even better than the silver eyes book that Ruby had bought, far better.
Weiss had bought a number of books on history of other worlds, curious to learn more about them. But she had also bought a number of books on swordsmanship, once again these were incredibly advanced techniques from a number of worlds.
The primary ones that were far and away the strongest were the books from the world of Dragon Ball. These ones were also the easiest to translate into aura based techniques, as the ki that is used in dragon ball, and the aura that is used in RWBY were inherently the same.
They just used different methods of going about using the very power of the soul, which is what Aura and ki were basically the personification of. The soul.
Weiss had chosen what was probably some of the most destructive techniques in aura, thanks to their connection to elements and the ability to utilize powers that would normally be specific to a semblance or dust, all through the usage of aura in a very specific and controlled way.
The last one had been Blake, who had bought by far the most books of the bunch. She had bought ten different books on a number of things, with three of them being very smutty books.
All three of them were icha icha books from the Naruto world. She had giggled when she had read the synopsis of each of them, and had hidden them from the others when she had chosen to buy them.
The other seven books were the interesting ones in Wanda's eyes. She had gotten a ton of books on assassination based powers and techniques. She couldn't really use the powers part of the book to her advantage, but the techniques would be a massive aid to her with the sort of semblance that she had.
She could already see the sort of things she was going to be up to with that technique, and she was actually pretty excited to see it. The techniques would mesh well with all the other powers and abilities that her teammates were going to be developing.
Before they had left, Wanda had also suggested that they offer for team JNPR to come to the store as well. They would do well with some of the techniques that she offered in her shop, especially in the case of Jaune who desperately needed some proper techniques.
His aura was immensely powerful for the world that they were in, and if he learned the techniques that Yang was going to learn, he was going to become quite the powerhouse, even more so than most of team RWBY.
He was just naturally prone to become strong. His semblance was pretty overpowered.
Not that he had truly understood that fact. He was pretty ignorant of just how overpowered his semblance actually was, and the fact that his aura was only going to get stronger and stronger the more he used it, and the more he had mastered the semblance he had been given.
They had promised to talk with team JNPR about potentially visiting the shop. On top of that they needed to speak with Ozpin about the fact that Wanda did not want to go anywhere near him. And the only way that he would be meeting with her is if he went out of his way to meet her himself.
Otherwise he was just going to have to suck it up and figure out another way. Not that there was one.
After they had left, Wanda was left alone for a little while before some of her normally customers had returned to the shop. These were mostly just the book club ladies that visited at least once a week. They were the nice old ladies that were elderly in age, and were frequent visitors. Some of her most loyal at that.
It wasn't irregular to see them talking with her in the shop, asking for recommendations for new books to read. Most of the books that they had asked to read were romance ones, but there were a few fantasy books that they had read through over the past few weeks.
At the moment Wanda was helping check out a customer's books. The teen had bought a few comics that she was interested in, and had also gotten herself a snickerdoodle cookie.
Watching the girl leave, Wanda gave her a friendly smile as the girl walked out of the shop. She was left alone for only a few moments, before the door spun open once more, and this time her smile widened as she saw her family slowly enter the store.
Amity led them, a bright smile on her face as she held a bag full of goodies in her arms. Milim and Naruto looked a little less excited, obviously having just finished a long trip which seemingly included a whole lot of shopping, something that neither of them were particularly fond of.
While Raven was looking at Amity with a fond expression on her face, making it pretty clear to Wanda that the two had been bonding more during their time out in Metropolis and Gotham.
"Ah, you're back! How was the day out, did you enjoy it?" Wanda asked, looking at her family with a happy gleam in her eyes, especially when she saw the enthusiastic nod coming from Amity. The girl seemed to have had a weight lifted from her shoulders, or at least a part of it.
"I did! Metropolis is incredible. The amount of technological wonders it has is amazing! It was unlike anything I've ever seen! And Gotham was...well...different, but it did have its own charm" Amity excitedly said, only to end a bit awkwardly when remembering Gotham and the way it looked.
She didn't particularly like Gotham, clearly.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it, hon. And what about you two?" Wanda asked, looking over at her son and daughter who both shrugged.
"It was fun. We set up an awesome prank on baldy, so we'll see the outcome of that soon!" Milim responded, as Wanda raised an eyebrow. Milim seemed to only realize what she had just admitted to a moment later, as her face paled ever so slightly.
"You pranked Luthor?" Wanda asked, giving her daughter a look as the girl glanced to the side, whistling as if she had not just heard what she had asked.
Wanda looked over to Naruto who paled when he saw the look in her eyes. He looked around, hoping for someone to help him, only to realize that even Raven and Amity were looking away.
And it would seem Wanda's glare would be pointed solely at him for the moment. And in response to this realization, he could only utter a single word.
"...Mercy?"
