"Who told you to speak so sarcastically?" Brandan glanced at her sideways, "Just admit you're jealous, it's not like I don't know."
"I'm not jealous." Iris huffed.
Brandan's lips curved into a slight arc, and he glanced at her with a smile. Her jealousy made him happy, it showed she cared about him.
Even though Iris would never admit she's jealous.
In such trivial matters, she inexplicably cared about her image.
And naturally, he would give her every bit of face.
As long as he knew, it was enough.
The car stopped at the entrance of the restaurant, and the waiter led them to their reserved table. Iris casually chose from the menu, then asked, "Have you found a new place to live?"
"Yes. There's an apartment over in West Hill, we'll stay there for a few days, and then once I find a suitable villa, we'll move."
Iris sighed with emotion, "I didn't think it would come to this, not being able to go home."
Brandan said blandly, "It's no big deal."
