"Why not? Your life is getting better and better now. With more effort, saving some money, it's completely possible to buy a house in the county!" said Mu Shuangshuang.
"No, Shuangshuang, I'm raising pigs now. It looks like I can earn several taels, even over ten taels of silver a year.
But I can't leave the village. If I leave, without work, I'll gradually starve even in the county!"
Mu Dalang was very clear about his current situation.
He knew how his family's foundation was built up.
Without the rural job of feeding pigs, slaughtering pigs, and selling pigs, he couldn't support himself and his wife at all.
He could starve, but his wife surely couldn't be hungry, right?
"Big cousin, right now, I have something I'd like you to try!" said Mu Shuangshuang.
"What is it?" Mu Dalang asked.
"Let's go inside, rest for a while, and find a restaurant to eat while we discuss!"
Mu Shuangshuang's dessert shop indeed needed someone she could trust.
