King Aerindir walked through the hallway of the palace, his footsteps echoing across its walls.
From time to time, a green orb of light would fly by his side, sending him reports from his subordinates in real time.
"Alex Stratos is currently staying at the Maiden's Kiss Inn," the orb of green light reported.
"Continue to monitor his movements," King Aerindir ordered. "If he ever makes contact with my daughters, especially Lapiz, report it to me immediately."
"Understood," the green orb of light replied before vanishing completely.
A few seconds later, a purple orb hovered beside the Elven King.
"The Guardian of the Mistral Weave Forest has made contact with Professor Matilda," the purple orb reported. "They are talking about the Singing King tournament, where Alex will be competing in."
"Professor Matilda?" King Aerindir remembered the elven woman who served as Faelarun Academy's Music Professor. "Do you know what they are talking about?"
