Clement had already been waiting at the other side when the two showed up in front of the car. His eyes gleamed in surprise as he saw Zoey in that burgundy dress. Instantly, he felt the surge of his long-suppressed affection toward Zoey, yet again.
Soon, he realized that it was hard to get over Zoey completely. Having kept Alan's words in mind, he, however, dared not make it too obvious.
"Zoey, you look beautiful today. By the way, you two look good together," Clement complimented.
With Alan acting as the middleman these days, Zoey no longer felt distant from Clement like before.
"Thank you. You look great too." Zoey grinned.
