Yvonne gritted her teeth and clenched her fists. Then, she forced a smile and said, "Ms. Miller, are you sure you want me to apologize?"
At the same time, she raised her fist and waved it in front of her.
Jeanette gulped and hid behind Harris subconsciously. "Harris, look at her. She's threatening me."
Harris looked up and frowned at Yvonne.
"Ms. Carter, Jeanette might've been on the wrong foot, but what you did was a little overboard, too. I think it's only right for you to apologize," Harris reasoned.
Yvonne cracked her knuckles and smiled. "Of course, I should apologize. I'm not the kind of person who won't admit to their mistakes."
With that, she tried to get up, but Shawn held her by her waist.
"What are you doing, Shawn?" Yvonne turned and asked.
"You don't have to apologize if you don't want to. No one can force you to do anything as long as I'm here," he said.
Yvonne could not help but smile when she heard that.
