Silas' jaw clenched.
"And the reason it can be cured…" Ivy continued, her voice quieter now, "is because of superior blood."
A faint realization flickered across her eyes. "…My blood."
Silas didn't interrupt.
"I'm still a hybrid… but I'm considered a superior being," she said softly. "And my blood… it affects the zombies."
A thought struck her suddenly. Her eyes widened slightly.
'Then… could it be used directly?'
Without hesitation, she reached out mentally.
"Can my blood be used as an antidote?" she asked.
