Chapter 24 - Rall Mahena—(6:Seville[2])

The entirety of the area became rubble from the on-Slaught of Pirecing blood shots that Haphazerdly rained down.

Seville, who's entire body is completely covered by a sheen of steam that which showed null of his person, was still falling.

Although his Life drain armor was made exactly to protect him from the blood through clotting, it did not mean he was uninjured.

A small drizzle of blood, Several drizzles of blood—Were flowing out of the sheen as he fell. The steam itself was flowing upwards like a trail.

Thud!

His feet landed on the road pavement below with extreme force, the loud thud along with a crash momentarily out-sounded the down-pour.

Hiss! Hiss! Hiss! Hisssssss!

An explosion of steam rose up as the vapoury water on the floor became thorough vapour, further emboldening the haze covering Seville's being.

The sound. Raining. Another sound. Steamy hissing. Pervaded the area drowning out all other sound, creating a silence that was loud.

This silence lasted only a moment more before interruption.

BANG

The cloud of steam pushed forward like a geyser, the floor that was undeneath it cracking and flying up into the air. The hissing sound has become a booming continuous drawl in his path.

The Haemanthia did not stay idle as this occured, the vapoury water floor reddened as tears of blood fell sickly, dripping down all it's petal eyes above in copious amounts.

This falling blood coiled in the air, each stream spiraling around the Haemanthia's stem and protruding out thorns.

These streams further branched, and even further, within a second the Haemanthia was covered in a veil of thorny vines. Hardening them as it grew more walls within.

CRASH!!

And by that end, the geyser of steam impacted hard against the thorn veil. Uncaring of the sharp, razor thinish thorns that covered the veil.

Exactly as it should, the geyser broke through the veil.

Only to be stopped by another wall of thorns already built inside.

???:"*Cough* *Cough* "

A pained coughing could be heard coming from within the steam cloud as a visible blade stroke out from the steam to slash at the wall. It bounced off.

???:"Fuck...come on"

With those words the blade became invisible once more,

"...Aarghh!!!"

,though a muffled screaming could be heard within the steam just as it did.

Without remorse against the screams the wall of thorns was parted with four slashes. The thorn needles and vines falling to pieces into the now negligible vapoury water.

*drop**tick*

*tick*

*tick*

Hardened like red jades as they cracked to shards then rubble, tumbling and pebbling atop the Vapoury floor. They fell.

Along with them fell a puddling amount of blood. Further darkening the floor with red.

And thus the Haemanthia behind the falling vine coil sharpened the gaze of all it's 8 petal eyes towards the the cloud of steam.

*Shtring*

*Shtrung*

His blade how ever was lamenting, being bound and unbound by Seville's power it phased into and out of sight. Slowing to a jarring appearance and just as such vanishing like it was never there.

It was a sign of weakness, a sign of oppertunity for the Haemanthia.

When it is starting to appear, attack. Whilst it is vanished, gaurd. In the middle, buy time.

Yet Seville was no green-horn of battle. He was an experienced fighter more over—

???:"I'd have done slight of hand against Rall thousands of times you cunning Fu*k!"

—He was an experienced father? A good father who gave his all for his son.

Not letting the Haemanthia plan nor observe, he plunged the hilt and the appearing blade into the steam cloud. Hiding it's fluctuations.

He was quick to make an action as it was possible for the Haemanthia to remember the timing of his blade fluctuations.

With that, he launched forward.

*tap* *splash* *tap* *splash*

The down pour was not enough to drown out the sound of his feet plunging into water puddles and tapping on the floor. Nor did it drown out his desperate beating heart. Neither did it lave off the pain in his aching leg muscles.

Rall ran, has been running. from the start of the disaster to today. Where the disaster's end should begin.

His legs hurt, he healed them. They pained and groaned again, he wrapped them in his green light. They cried, he warmed them with a cold touch. They begged to stop...he didn't do anything.

Rall:"Come on Come on run faster damn it!"

He saw the battle happening in the sky and the steam fall, he knew Seville had already lost something. Whatever that fell before the steam didn't seem like clothing nor like petals.

If he was quick enough he could atleast heal him, he was mediocre at best in wielding a sword but as long as he could take up a blade he will wield it alongside his father.

The last turn was upon him, the floor had been turned to a crimson bed of blood and vapoury water. It was at this moment that Rall realised that the puddles of water he had been stomping on had been blood already for awhile now.

Rall:"Please...Please dad. Don't die."

That was the wish his heart echoed.
