[The user may convert the Stat Distibution Panel into any ability they choose]

"What the fuck!"

Chizuru was in absolute shock.

"System what do you mean illusory space!"

[Question detected: User currently exists in an illusory world designed for wish fulfillment while the real body is trapped in a cocoon like space. The Stat Distribution Panel is useless without the ability to move a real body]

[It is highly recommended you choose an ability that will allow you to escape the illusory world.]

This was absolutely ridiculous for Chizuru. He had just transmigrated to the world of Shinobi and all of a sudden he finds himself stuck in the infinite tsukuyomi. Out of the many situations a transmigrator could find themselves in. This probably ranked among the absolute worst for transmigrators of the Shinobi World.

Chizuru head swiveled as he looked around the room he was in.

"Feels pretty real, but it's just an illusion according to my system." Chizuru mumbled to himself.

'So because my physical body is stuck having a stat system is useless and instead I can gain some kind of ability. I need to choose an ability that will allow me to escape not just the cocoon I'm in but also whoever cast the infinite tsukuyomi. It's either Kaguya or Madara, if it's Madara I can just wait for Naruto and Sasuke to stop the infinite tsukuyomi. But if it's Kaguya then I'll eventually be converted into a white zetsu.'

Chizuru made an expression of deep thought. Stroking his chin at the same time.

"System if I choose an ability like teleportation will I be able to escape?"

[Yes the system granted ability can act independent of your immobilized chakra system]

"How powerful can the ability be?"

[The ability will start at a chunnin level. After that it will grow with you, as it is derived from the stat distribution panel. You may also choose a template or talent as well]

"Is there a limit on what templates I can choose?"

[No, but the template will start at chunnin level no matter what template you choose which may restrict the abilities you may gain from the template at the beginning.]

Chizuru searched through his mind for any kind of character that could help him in this situation.

'Saitama? No I can't train. Gojo? Sukuna? No I still can't move my body. What about cultivation? No I still can't move. I need a template for a character that can quickly and discreetly grow their power without relying on a physical body within an illusion world that can reach six paths level.'

His mind kept on going through countless characters from fiction and the many novels he had read. 30 minutes passed of just thinking.

"I Have It! System! I want a template of the Outer God Mastermind from I'm an Infinite Regressor But I've Got Stories to Tell!"

[Template: Mastermind 0.01%]

[Due to the laws of the Shinobi World the powers of the Mastermind will be different than portrayed in the original world it comes from]

He remembered reading at least 200 chapters of that novel before the site it was on got taken down for some reason.

(A/N: Reaperscans.com R.I.P)

It was perfect for the exact situation he was in. The outer gods in that world were conceptual beings that lacked true physical bodies. Not out of choice but simply because they didn't need it. Even when another outer god Infinite Void manifested a body and blew up the entire planet in one punch the Mastermind was still at a complete advantage. It required 1 other outer god that managed to delete reality just to subdue the Mastermind.

(A/N: Technically 3, no spoilers)

It was a god that ruled over the concepts of the unseen and simulation. It created thousands of simulations that replicated the entire world in many possibilities just to counter regression. It could manipulate the world as if it was a simulation. It did this by taking the brains of dead humans and using them for simulations, expanding its power. The true form of this god was a brain in a jar. But none of that mattered as it was an Outer God conceptual being that grew its power discreetly.

Chizuru knew what he was going to do now. He would slowly use his power to take the brains of those who died to the tree to become more powerful. He would simulate to figure out if it was Kaguya or Madara doing this and eventually escape.

He reached out in a metaphysical way he couldn't describe. It traveled through the tree that connected to all their minds. Then somebody in some other cocoon that just died had their brain explode. Their orifices bled out in silence, no one would ever know.

All of a sudden Chizuru felt some kind of growth. It couldn't be quantified like chakra. But he knew he could now simulate with the processing power of 2 brains. His capacity for perception expanded a little too.

Chizuru simply kept on doing this. Every person that had died and not yet been turned into a white zetsu had their heads explode in a more violent fashion than the first one.

'It's Kaguya' Chizuru had analyzed the information within the brains he exploded. There was nothing about Shinobi so it was...

Chizuru simply stood within a white space as he had completely dissolved the illusory world. And now Chizuru stood with an expression of pure confusion.

"These people lived in some kind of cyberpunk world?"

He continued to sift through the information.

"Sages. Kagaku? Nuclear bomb disaster?"

Chizuru was looking at knowledge about the Land of Kagaku and how it was turned into a wasteland by some mysterious nuclear explosion that glassed the continent. But there was also information from some soldiers that fought in a secret sage war that were clearly toads, snakes, and other summons from the Shinobi world clearly.

'Maybe there was another transmigrator before me? Similar to The Lord of the Mysteries Transmigrator situation. It must be this future king figure then. But he died of old age..."

"Well that doesn't matter. All I need to do is parasitize humanity through the tree and simulate away."

Meanwhile on the outside Kaguya was considering what to do now that she had eaten the chakra fruit and cast the Infinite Tsukiyomi. Her children were also caught up in the Tsukiyomi and Kaguya wanted to erase their memories when they got out. Kaguya felt shame for casting this jutsu, her deceased husband would've told her this was wrong. But it was what she needed to do to prepare for the coming Otsutsuki and bring peace to the destroyed land.

Kaguya was none the wiser about the transmigrator that just infected the Infinite Tsukiyomi.
