"Now that's strange," Femi mumbled. Both of them looked at the magic beast that came flying out and landed on the ground before quickly scrambling away like they had seen the scariest thing of their lives.
There was a moment of silence as both of them looked at the clearing in front of them. A few seconds later, Alex disappeared again and returned with another beast before tossing it into the clearing.
The same thing happened again, the creature came flying out like it had been tossed from the other side. It landed on the ground and rushed away, not bothering to attack the two humans beside it and more concerned with getting as far away as possible from this place.
Alex's mask betrayed no expression while Femi's curious look became more apparent, just what were these beasts experiencing?
