Chapter 432: Beerus Is About to Arrive
While the Old Supreme Kai and the young East Supreme Kai were still discussing the situation, a voice suddenly echoed in their ears.
"Uh, are you two busy right now…? Sorry to interrupt."
"I'm North Kai."
The voice carried an apologetic tone.
"Oh, so Lord North Kai, you've also learned that Lord Beerus has awakened."
The Old Supreme Kai responded.
"That's right. I overheard what you were talking about just now. But compared to Son Goku, there's someone else—someone far more troublesome—who might threaten the safety of the entire universe."
North Kai lowered his voice as he explained to the two Supreme Kais.
At his words, both the Old Supreme Kai and the East Supreme Kai's expressions changed instantly.
The Old Supreme Kai, now visibly nervous, quickly asked, "Who is it?"
"Could there really be someone in this universe even more battle-hungry than that fighting maniac Son Goku?"
North Kai swallowed hard.
Then, cautiously, he continued, "I don't know if he's battle-crazy or not…"
"But from what I can tell, his power has already surpassed Goku and Vegeta."
North Kai then explained in detail everything that was currently happening on Earth.
When he mentioned that this mysterious man had instantly defeated Vegeta with a single move and was now about to fight Goku, the Old Supreme Kai's face turned pale again.
"Who in the world is this man? Why would he go to Earth just to challenge those Saiyans?"
He couldn't help but ask.
North Kai thought for a moment before replying, "I'm not too sure about his origins. He calls himself Uchiha Dali."
"That's quite a strange name."
"And he doesn't seem to belong to the North Galaxy. I'll ask the other Kais if they've ever heard of this man…"
"We have to find out everything we can about his identity."
"That's not the main issue, Lord North Kai!"
The Old Supreme Kai's tone grew anxious.
"No matter what happens, we must stop that man! Regardless of whether he or Son Goku wins or loses, we absolutely cannot let them encounter Lord Beerus—let alone learn of his existence!"
"Otherwise… things will get very bad."
As he said this, his voice grew dejected.
Deep down, he knew that if things really did go in that direction, there would be no stopping it.
All they could do now was hope for the best.
...
At that same time, in the Realm of the Gods of Destruction—
Just before departing, Beerus recalled that Planet Vegeta, the Saiyan homeworld, had been destroyed.
"Planet Vegeta was destroyed before you woke up, under your own orders, Lord Beerus," Whis reminded him.
"Those Saiyans were so irritating—especially King Vegeta."
"But if Planet Vegeta was destroyed, doesn't that mean all Saiyans are gone too?"
"Not exactly, Lord Beerus," Whis replied, checking the crystal orb atop his staff. "Some Saiyans survived the disaster, including the prince of the Saiyans."
"Oh? What a lucky fellow."
"By the way, Whis, is the bath ready? I'm going to take a soak."
Moments later, while relaxing in the hot spring, Beerus suddenly remembered something and asked casually, "Whis, where are those surviving Saiyans now?"
Whis had already looked into it. "The surviving Saiyans currently live on Planet 4032, Green 877—a planet called Earth."
"Oh? I think I've been there before. Those creatures called dinosaurs were quite rude, so I wiped them all out."
Beerus curled his lip dismissively.
That planet was hardly worth mentioning.
Then Whis added, "However, Lord Beerus, the Saiyan who defeated Frieza—Son Goku—"
"What? Defeated Frieza?"
Beerus' eyes widened in surprise.
"Yes. Frieza was defeated by a Saiyan named Son Goku. That same Goku is now on Earth."
"And apparently, he's about to fight another powerful opponent."
Whis explained as he gazed into his crystal orb.
"A powerful opponent?"
Beerus' surprise deepened.
That a Saiyan could defeat Frieza was already astonishing enough.
And now there was someone even stronger?
"I've only been asleep for thirty-nine years, and the universe has changed this much?"
Though Frieza had been insignificant compared to him, anyone capable of defeating him was no ordinary being.
Beerus suddenly lost interest in his bath.
He put on his robe and stepped out of the water. "How far is Earth from here?"
"Roughly an hour's journey," Whis replied.
"An hour? That far?" Beerus blinked.
"Yes, indeed."
"Then prepare a boxed meal, Whis."
After a moment's thought, Beerus decided he would go see this for himself.
...
On Earth—
Uchiha Dali looked at Goku, who had transformed into Super Saiyan 3, a look of mild surprise on his face.
"Compared to that earlier transformation, your power has skyrocketed."
"In this form, can you destroy a planet with a single punch?"
He asked with genuine curiosity.
"One punch to destroy a planet?"
"I haven't tried… but I think I could," Goku replied honestly.
"Hm. I can sense the violent energy inside you. In this form, I probably can't finish you off with a single move."
"Let's test it out."
He motioned with a crooked finger for Goku to come.
Goku grinned in anticipation and took his stance. "Alright then, I'm coming at you for real!"
With that, he lunged forward.
His speed was incredible—within a blink, he was right in front of Uchiha Dali.
Dali had intended to gauge his attack power and thus made no move to counter.
But the next instant, something strange happened.
Just as Goku's fist was about to land, Dali's body moved on its own, effortlessly dodging the blow.
"My Ultra Instinct reaction level is too high… My body moved before I even thought about it," Dali said with a wry smile.
Goku, unaware of what had just happened, exclaimed in awe, "Your reaction speed is amazing!"
"I'm gonna get serious now!"
He burst into motion again, his flurry of attacks crashing down like a raging storm.
