Chapter 427: The Super Enemy in the Prophecy
Higher Dimension — Universe 7.
In the Realm of the God of Destruction.
At this very moment, Beerus, the God of Destruction, was enjoying desserts with his attendant, Whis.
While gracefully savoring his own sweets, Whis asked curiously, "By the way, Lord Beerus, have you remembered the name of that powerful enemy you dreamed about?"
"Something like… Super… something," Beerus tilted his head in thought, took another bite, then shook his head.
"You don't even remember your opponent's name, huh?"
Whis teased with a smile.
Beerus narrowed his eyes and turned his head away with a haughty snort. "I'll go ask the Oracle Fish."
Then he stuffed another spoonful of dessert into his mouth.
Whis chuckled lightly. "In the end, you're relying on the Oracle Fish after all."
"What? Is that a problem?"
Beerus shot him a sharp look.
That one glance from the fearsome God of Destruction—enough to make planetary rulers tremble and even the Supreme Kai bow his head—carried a suffocating weight.
Yet Whis remained perfectly calm, smiling as if nothing happened. "Do as you please."
Immediately, Beerus raised his head and shouted toward the sky, "Hey! Oracle Fish, where are you?"
No sooner had his voice fallen than a streak of light shot down from the skylight above.
The figure moved with lightning speed, crashed into several objects, bounced around the walls for a while, and even knocked over Beerus's dessert before finally stopping.
Despite being called a "fish," the Oracle Fish actually looked more like a strange creature floating in a staff-shaped container filled with water.
Once it appeared, it floated up before Beerus and greeted respectfully, "Lord Beerus, what do you need me for?"
Beerus glared first at the spilled dessert on the floor, then at his pet.
Though irritation flared in his chest, he held it back, scooped up the last bite from the spoon, and ate it before speaking.
"Oracle Fish, thirty-nine years ago you said I'd meet a powerful opponent thirty-nine years later. What was that guy's name again?"
"Yes, what was it called?"
The Oracle Fish tilted its head in thought but couldn't remember.
"You don't remember either?"
Beerus's expression instantly darkened.
"Nope, I've forgotten," the Oracle Fish admitted.
"Whis, I feed it three times a day, right?" Beerus asked.
"Yes, that's correct."
"How about we change that to twice a day?"
"Sounds good, Lord Beerus."
"Then it's decided."
Beerus folded his arms and looked coldly at his pet.
The Oracle Fish immediately panicked. "No, Lord Beerus, please don't!"
"Then hurry up and remember that guy's name!" Beerus roared.
The Oracle Fish tried desperately, but no matter how hard it thought, it couldn't recall.
Looking troubled, it finally pleaded, "Lord Beerus, how about I make another prophecy for you?"
"Oh?" Beerus narrowed his eyes. "That'll let you find out his name?"
"Of course it will," the Oracle Fish replied confidently.
Hearing that, Beerus rubbed his chin, thought for a moment, then nodded. "Fine, make another prophecy. But if you can't give me an accurate answer this time, you'll only be fed once a day!"
"Y-yes, Lord Beerus! Please wait just a moment!"
The Oracle Fish began its prophecy nervously.
Soon, it had an answer.
"Lord Beerus, I remember now! The powerful opponent you'll face is called the Super Saiyan God!"
"Super Saiyan God? Ha! I knew I hadn't misremembered…"
Beerus rubbed his chin, one hand behind his back, muttering to himself.
"But that Super Saiyan God has already appeared, hasn't he?" he asked.
The Oracle Fish nodded. "Yes, he's already appeared somewhere."
"So where is he?"
Beerus pressed.
But the Oracle Fish shook its head. "I can't foresee the exact location, Lord Beerus. Only that he's somewhere in this universe."
"Is that so…"
A dark aura seemed to shroud Beerus's face, making him look as though he'd just walked out of the underworld.
Seeing that the Oracle Fish wasn't lying, Beerus sighed and gave up.
"Whis, let's go."
"Where to, Lord Beerus?"
"To find the Super Saiyan God—and eliminate him."
Beerus said as he walked out.
"As you wish, Lord Beerus."
Whis waved his hand, magically gathering the dessert into a lunchbox, and followed behind.
Just then, the Oracle Fish called out, "Wait, Lord Beerus!"
"Hm?"
"Is there something else you haven't told me?"
"Yes, Lord Beerus."
"Then speak. What is it?"
Beerus turned around.
The Oracle Fish hesitated. "I just made another prophecy, and I discovered that besides the Super Saiyan God, there's another being—an even stronger opponent who will also become your enemy, Lord Beerus…"
Its expression twisted strangely as it spoke.
Beerus immediately noticed and asked curiously, "Are you afraid, Oracle Fish?"
"Y-yes, Lord Beerus—ah, no! I mean, no, not at all!"
It was lying.
That rare behavior made Beerus's expression harden.
"So who is this being stronger than the Super Saiyan God?" he asked impatiently but still held his temper.
"His name is…" The Oracle Fish hesitated again.
Even Whis could tell it was reluctant to say it.
"Seems the Oracle Fish doesn't dare to speak that name, Lord Beerus," Whis remarked lightly.
"Then feed it once every three days. It's not like it'll starve to death."
Beerus and Whis spoke in perfect sync—an effective threat indeed.
Forced to yield, the Oracle Fish finally said, "The one even stronger than the Super Saiyan God… is named Uchiha Dali, Lord Beerus."
"Uchiha Dali?"
Beerus tilted his head in puzzlement.
"Ever heard that name before, Whis?"
Whis shook his head. "No, I haven't."
Clearly, Beerus didn't take the Oracle Fish's words too seriously.
After all, he was a God of Destruction—the mightiest existence in the universe.
No matter how powerful an opponent appeared, none could possibly rival him.
"Let's go, Whis. We'll find the Super Saiyan God first—and then, this Uchiha Dali."
With that, Beerus turned and strode out.
