I stood in front of the mirror in my room and pulled up my black jeans. I zipped them up slowly and buckled the belt tightly around my waist, making sure it sat comfortably. The jeans felt nice and fresh after the long day. I hummed a soft, random tune under my breath, feeling relaxed and a little excited about the evening ahead.
*Clack*
I opened the cupboard door and took out my favorite perfume bottle. I sprayed it a couple of times on my neck and wrists, enjoying the light mist that settled on my skin.
"Umm… I like this spicy vanilla flavour," I thought to myself as I put the bottle back inside the cupboard. "Usually girls wear it, but I like sweet scents. Strong ones sometimes give me a headache."
I reached for my black shirt hanging on the hanger and slipped it on over my black inner t-shirt. I adjusted the collar and buttons, making sure it looked neat. While doing so, I kept humming the same little song, swaying my body slightly to the rhythm in my head.
