Hearing that, both Rael and Nyx froze. Obviously, they knew that he was an idiot, but for him to say something like that to his own sister, it felt like he just wanted to be hated.
Was there anyone who actually liked being hated? Was he some sort of masochistic idiot with no brain? Whatever the case was, Rael wasn't convinced that this guy was serious. But seeing how he conjured up some mana in an attempt to push her away, his intent was clear.
However, before either Rael or Nyx could chime in, Melissa suddenly took a step forward and, with the full brunt of her momentum, delivered a powerful backhand straight to his jaw, sending him flying into the walls of the mansion.
