Kai would execute her. Weeks had passed, and no one had come to get her or tell her news about Chloe. She would never like the woman, and all of her pain was attributed to their new Queen, but in the hands of humans who had nothing to lose, she would suffer.
Arc would not like that. He would rage and be among the search party. He would kill the humans who laid their hands on her. He almost killed Kai because she asked or something of that sort. What wouldn't Arc do for her?
He lived for her. He died for her. He would be remembered as a traitor for the rest of history all because she asked for it. What was it about Decker-Chloe that made men lose their minds? Only two men: One was her mate, and the other the man she loved more than life could say. Both of them loved her like she was a goddess. Did she create the moon and stars? Or dis she plant them in the sky?
Ivana would never know as she rotted in the dungeons waiting for her end.
