The pillar was enormous. Its brilliance pierced the earth below and the heavens above, transforming the battlefield into a world of golden light.
Golden light climbed endlessly into the heavens. In the face of the divine radiance, the clouds were shredded, the darkness was destroyed, and the demonic energy saturating the area was purified across hundreds of miles.
The visual display was so overwhelming to the senses that those watching could only stand frozen. No one could speak. They had no words capable of describing the sight before them.
The pillar continued burning and charging upward. Its light grew brighter and brighter, causing the surrounding space to distort.
