"I think your father would be in a much better position to answer that question than I am," Alexander replied.
Ella remained silent, her brows still knitted together as she tried to make sense of everything she had just heard.
'It doesn't make sense, such coincidence can't possibly exist. Why would dad...'
Seeing the confusion written all over her face, Alexander reached over and gently squeezed her hand.
"Actually," he began, "I was thinking... once you're discharged tomorrow, we should visit your father together. Just like we planned."
"What?" Ella looked up at him in surprise. "You still want to come?"
