"Yes," the boy said quickly. "All of mine have red marks."
Theo released his wrist but kept the arrow. Different starting areas had different colors. That was the first useful trail they had found.
The colors did not reveal which team an archer belonged to, but they could reveal where that person had started. It was more information than they had moments ago.
"Where did you last see an arrow with another color?"
"I did not."
"You looked at the arrow before answering. You gave away this information with your eyes. Now you have lost, so if you don't want to be hurt, you start answering," Theo said with seriousness. Time was of the essence right now.
The boy's expression changed while looking into Theo's sharp eyes. Somehow, they felt very dangerous.
Rhevard pressed the shield a little harder against the girl. She hissed and finally released the rope.
