After resting for a while, Hazuki and Shizuka headed home. Lunch plans were temporarily changed to eating out.
However, quite a few people in the house were still asleep, and it was about time to wake them up.
The ones in the guest rooms were left to Utaha and Yukino, while Ichin, just like in the morning, went to the home theater.
Opening the door, not a single person had woken up yet.
Ichin walked straight and pulled open the curtains.
As sunlight poured in, there was finally some movement.
Shinoda was the first to open her eyes. With the best constitution among them, even though she hadn't slept long, she still sat up from the blankets almost immediately.
Stretching, she looked at Ichin by the window and rubbed her eyes. "What time is it, Ichin?"
"9:30. Hurry up and wash up. There's food prepared downstairs for you," Ichin said with a smile. "I wasn't planning to wake you this early, but didn't you all say yesterday you'd go out this afternoon? You all drank, so you'll need to go home and change first."
"Ah, right, that's true."
Pulling at her pajamas, Shinoda laughed. "I only brought sleepwear. I really did forget to bring spare clothes."
After patting her cheeks to wake herself up, she began shaking the others beside her.
"Yun, Aoba, time to get up!"
"Ugh… what time is it…" Iijima Yun opened her eyes groggily, slowly sitting up, only to notice Ichin standing nearby with a smile.
Seeing him, Ichin greeted, "Good morning. Time to get up."
"…!"
After three seconds of staring blankly, Yun looked down at her pajamas, then immediately shrieked and dove back under the blankets.
"Why are you here?!"
"I'm here to wake you up," Ichin replied calmly. "Your pajamas are perfectly fine, what are you embarrassed about?"
Shinoda nodded from the side. "Exactly. We've all been to the beach together, we've seen each other in swimsuits. Yun, you're just too shy."
"Shut up!"
Ichin chuckled and shook his head, then headed toward the door. "Alright, wake the others up quickly, then come downstairs for breakfast. After that, go home and change. Otherwise, you'll miss the afternoon plans."
Yun finally snapped back to reality, remembering the clothes situation. As for Aoba, even after knowing Ichin had left, she still looked half-asleep, clearly not having rested enough.
Half an hour later, everyone finally came downstairs after washing up, though all of them were still in their pajamas.
Those like Aoba, who had only drunk a little, were fine. But Yagami Kou, Rin Toyama, and Hifumi, who had drunk a lot, absolutely refused to put their previous clothes back on.
While eating buns, Kou looked around and asked, "So, where are we having lunch? Has it been decided?"
Nene swallowed her food and asked, "Aren't we eating here?"
Hifumi smiled and used a tissue to wipe the oil from the corner of Nene's mouth. "Did you forget? We used up all the ingredients yesterday. Just look at how many people there are."
"Ah, right."
Ichin smiled. "For lunch, I've already made a reservation at a Cantonese dim sum restaurant. It's quite authentic, over in Ginza. So everyone, be efficient when you go home to change. Don't take too long. Oh, and Ruri, when you go back, bring your two younger sisters along. You didn't bring them yesterday, so let them join us today. They've been studying hard lately, so take them out for something nice."
Gokou Ruri nodded.
"Alright, I got it." She took out her phone and sent a message to her sisters.
After sending it, she glanced at Kousaka Kirino, who was smiling beside her, and said expressionlessly, "At lunch, you are not allowed to sit with Tamaki and Hinata."
"Huh?!!!!"
After finishing breakfast, everyone drove back to their respective homes to change clothes, planning to meet at the restaurant in Ginza at noon for dim sum.
Of course, today Ichin, as the boss, was treating everyone.
After they all left, only the four of them remained in the house.
Stretching, Ichin looked at the decorations still set up in the living room and smiled. "Should we leave these up for a couple more days?"
Utaha sat beside him and nodded. "Let's leave them. They look pretty nice, don't they? And it'll be easy to take them down later. By the way, Yukino, where's Haruno?"
"Upstairs, in her room."
Carrying three cups of tea, Yukino placed them down and sat beside Ichin, leaning against him. "This is the first time I've seen my sister act shy. It's actually quite interesting."
Utaha narrowed her eyes. "True. And judging by how tightly she was hugging him last night, she probably mistook Ichin for you after getting drunk."
"I think so too," Yukino nodded. "Sometimes when we sleep together, she likes to hug me. Luckily it's winter. If it were summer, then Ichin really would've taken advantage."
She glanced at him as she said that.
Ichin raised his hands with a smile. "That has nothing to do with me. The moment my head hit the pillow last night, I was out cold. I didn't feel anything. If I had woken up, I definitely would've sent Haruno back to her own room."
Utaha poked his cheek and said with a smile, "That may be true, but Yukino, do you think it's possible that Haruno actually has feelings for him?"
Yukino didn't answer immediately, instead thinking seriously.
"Hmm… hard to say."
Ichin's expression instantly turned awkward. "Hey, hey, can you not discuss this kind of topic? That's clearly impossible."
Utaha smiled with narrowed eyes. "Really? You don't have even the slightest thought about it?"
"No," Ichin said firmly. "Isn't things as they are now just fine? Utaha, stop stirring trouble. And besides, I only have two kidneys, I'm not some kind of superhuman."
Ichin believed his physical condition was already quite good, but he was far from superhuman. He still needed to keep exercising, otherwise in a few years he might end up lacking the energy, which was something he absolutely didn't want.
Adding one or two more? He had no intention of that at all.
His words made Yukino's cheeks flush slightly, while Utaha smiled and said, "I see. In that case, how about the three of us take a bath together tonight after we come back from going out?"
"That works for me!"
