But in this remote village, there was barely any work Mirajane could do to earn a stable living. So she always ventures into the woods to find some prey or fruits and vegetables to bring home.
Life was hard for her, but she still did what was needed to let her siblings live a good life. And it was when she was working on one of her odd jobs that she heard about the devil that was sealed inside this church.
Originally, this church had a priest stationed here, but the priest died recently due to a heart attack. And the village chief and other villagers were extremely panicked when this happened. After all, without the priest, how could they protect themselves from the demon?
So everyone decided to post a quest to hire a mage to solve this problem. As for why they didn't contact the church to send a new priest. Please, they have this much awareness. They knew no normal priest would be willing to come to their remote village. This way, no one would ever try to hurt you or your siblings again, " Akira said with a shrug, earning a glare from Mirajane.
Although what he said is true, but would these villagers really submit to her? And again, would she really be able to become cruel enough to make everyone fear her? And even if she really managed to make everyone submit, how long would she be able to keep them from having any ideas?
So even though Akira described this as an option, in actuality, Mirajane could only take the second option.
" And the second option is you all come with me to Magnolia and join Fairy Tail. That way, I can finish this quest you all can find a place to live without needing to fear these villagers.
