"So, what is your name? "Akira asked as he looked at Mirajane with a smile. Even though he knew their names, he still decided to ask to avoid any suspicion.
"It's rude to ask someone's name without introducing yourself. "Mirajane spoke with no hesitation. Her eyes didn't move even a bit as she looked at Akira with the same cold expression.
Seeing that there is still no progress, Akira sighed and decided to use some other tricks. He began to look at the surrounding church and spoke,
"Well, it's such a pity. This church, which had existed for many years, had become abandoned. "Akira said with genuine emotion. Although he was using this to trick Mirajane, he was also speaking the truth.
As an archaeologist, Akira had always had a thirst for knowledge about historical events. He has a special interest in churches and other religious buildings, as those were the places where one could find the most records of the past.
"Humph, since you have already seen it, get on your damn way," Mirajane said with an annoyed expression. She was starting to get fed up with this guy who is constantly bothering them.

Okay, it seems he needs to be direct with his approach. Sigh, what can he do? These kids are too uncultured and ignore the hidden meaning in his words.
Akira sighed and took out a parchment from his storage ring. He then tossed it toward Mirajane.
"Here, you might want to read this, " Akira said as he looked at Mirajane. But unfortunately, he was disappointed to see that Mirajane didn't even look at the parchment; she kept her gaze on him the whole time.
"Okay, okay, you know what, screw this." Akira stood up and began to walk towards Mirajane with anger in his heart. Even a donkey has a temper. Previously, he didn't act because he felt Mirajane was just a little girl, but this is going too far. How can someone have such hostility towards a person they meet for the first time?
Akira snapped his finger, and a magic circle immediately appeared under everyone. And then in the next moment, Mirajane, Lissana, and Elfman all felt their bodies becoming heavy.
" Okay, girl, let's start from the beginning. My name is Akira, and I'm a mage from the Fairy Tail guild. I came here to complete the mission of driving away the devil from this village. So, anything you want to say to me? "Akira asked as he looked at Mirajane.
Facing the sudden change in attitude, and with the gravity magic that Akira just used, Mirajane's body reacted almost instinctively. She clenched her hand and punched straight at Akira with her full power.
But her punch was easily caught by Akira. After all, no matter how powerful Mirajane would become in the future, she is still a little girl who just recently awakened her magic power. And how could that compare with Akira, who has awakened his dragon bloodline?
"Whoa there, Missy, you should seriously take a breath and calm down for a moment. That punch is way too dangerous and could hurt someone, " Akira said as he patted his chest with an exaggerated expression.
But Mirajane couldn't smile now. She knew herself how much power she used in that punch. But this person took her punch without even breaking a sweat. At this moment, Mirajane, who was always so domineering, began to show some fear in her eyes. If it were not for her needing to protect her brother and sister, she would have already fled this place.
But it's exactly because of her siblings that Mirajane knew she couldn't show weakness. She didn't care about herself, but she would never let anyone hurt her siblings.
Thinking so, a determined look appeared in her eyes. She looked at her siblings and spoke seriously, " Lissanna, Elfman, I will hold this guy back; you two run as fast as possible away from this place. "
"Elder sister, " both Elfman and Lissana spoke with sobs, hearing their elder sister's words.
Akira stood there, speechless. Do I really give off such a villainous vibe? He huffed, annoyed that Mira still refused to see his good intentions. Since words weren't working, he decided to settle the score with a quick, playful flick to her brow.
"Ow, that hurts!" Mira whimpered, crouching low while rubbing the spot. She peered up at him through teary eyes, trying to look menacing. It was like watching a baby panda baring its teeth—she was trying to be scary, but it only made her look cuter.
At least for Akira, Mira looked cuter. This made him want to bully her more.
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Akira began to admonish her seriously. "Little girl, you're really something else. Why are you so determined to label me the bad guy? If I meant you harm, I wouldn't be standing here talking. I'm a Fairy Tail mage—I don't stoop so low as to bully children."
'That's, unless those kids started. 'Akira thought inwardly. As a fairy tail they don't hold back their punches, even if they are women or children. But Akira wasn't going to say that.
Hearing Akira's words, Mirajane did calm down somewhat. What this guy said was actually true. And after she realized this,this? Mirajane began to feel a bit embarrassed.
" Okay, now that you guys have calmed down somewhat, can we talk through this. I have some sweets if you want," Akira said as he took out some sweets from his storage ring.
When they saw the sweets, both Mirajane and Lissana's eyes sparkled. Even Elfman, who gulped down a mouthful of saliva as he looked at the pile of sweets with a longing expression.
For a remote like theirs, sugar is a luxury that they rarely get to indulge in. And with such tasty sweets in front of them, all three siblings were almost unable to hold themselves. But both Lissana and Elfman controlled themselves, and they simultaneously looked at their elder sister for guidance.
Mira hesitated. She also wanted those sweets, but she wasn't about to lower her guard. What if they're poisoned?
Akira saw right through her. He chuckled, popped a sweet into his mouth, and smirked. "Oh, come on. These are some stuff—I practically went broke buying them. Try to show a little gratitude, huh?" He finished with a playful wink.
Mirajane ignored Akira's teasing remarks as she also took a sweet and put it in her mouth. As soon as the candy touched her, her taste buds exploded with sweetness. This sweetness almost made her break character.
But remembering her two siblings are still there, Mirajane quickly calmed herself. She then took the whole basket from Akira's hand and gave it to her siblings.
Lissana and Elfman didn't hesitate any longer as they began to devour the sweets with relish. Mirajane also joined in, as she also couldn't resist the temptation.
Akira, seeing that they enjoyed the sweets, had a smile on his face. Those sweets were something Sera made, so he knew no one would be able to escape the temptation. But seeing how even someone like Mirajane was also conquered by them, Akira had to admit that Sera is truly a god when it comes to food.
After the three Strauss siblings finished all the sweets, Akira decided to finish this job. Now that you have eaten my food, you surely would give me some face, right?
Akira thought, but unfortunately, Mirajane didn't share the same thought. She still gave Akira the cold shoulder, making Akira so angry that he wanted to punch this girl in the head. She was like a bastard who married a pure girl and divorced her after the deed was done.
Fortunately, there was Lissana to mediate between them. This girl, after eating the sweets, completely let her guard down against Akira.
And with Lissana acting as a bridge, Akira finally managed to tell Mirajane and the others what is truly happening and why he is here at this village.
