"I'm going to cook for you a great Scottish dinner," Connor beamed as he gave me a kiss. His hands were already warm from the stove, but he pressed them to my jaw anyway. "Do you want to freshen up so you can join me in the kitchen?"
I nodded, feeling the exhaustion of the jet start to set in. One couldn't travel with Aaron and expect it to be a calm trip. He had so many events he had to attend and because I had tagged along, I had to accompany him to all of them. It left me tired beyond belief but I didn't want to call it an early night. Not when Connor was smiling at me like I was his very world in that moment.
"Yes please, I think I'm starting to smell like a jet."
"So the best fragrances," he chuckled and climbed off my lap. "I don't know what your jets have but it never smells bad. You can go upstairs. My bedroom is the one right down the hall."
