Connor
"Uh morning," I muttered to Edward when we met at the door at practice. It was rather weird driving into practice without him. We had gotten used to travelling with each other and having our morning jog together, a hefty breakfast and even though we knew we shouldn't, waffles with enough syrup to make our teeth ache.
Getting used to my apartment was strange. The new bed I had gotten didn't feel right, the shower was perfect but didn't feel like mine. Probably because it didn't have it's own built in bench which made showering a balance act. The kitchen wasn't as big but I didn't find any use in it because I had breakfast down by the cafe which was better than me figuring out how to use the complicated looking electric stove.
I tried to time my arrival to make sure I didn't run into Edward alone. After I had left his house I felt like the worst person ever for breaking his heart, how were we going to be cordial with one another after what I had done?
