I stared at the walls around me and felt more miserable than I ever had in a while. Not that the past three days of barely leaving the bed and crying my heart out wasn't the pits but looking at the apartment around me didn't feel any better. It was nice, I still had enough money to give me something that some would be considered upper class but it wasn't as spacious as I would have preferred.
The modern two bedroom penthouse was decent, with a kitchen and dining room, two lounge areas and a decent size home office. The apartment building had a gym downstairs which at least meant I didn't have to go out much and had it's own cafe as well which you could order up from. I liked it but the sterile furniture didn't help me a bit.
