Third Person POV
North.
...
...
Madara appeared on top of a mountain, at the northernmost edge of the continent. While still frowning over Ciri's situation, his thoughts turned to Isabela's whereabouts.
"Why isn't my mark working...?"
He could no longer feel the mark on Isabela's body, which Madara had placed as a precaution, which meant it had been erased.
This also indicated that Coral, in some way, already knew about his space-time techniques, and the first thing she did was erase the traces so he wouldn't be able to find Isabela.
He had gotten something from the unicorn before it disappeared; it had given him information.
'Kaer Seren.' The unicorn transmitted this mentally to Madara before disappearing. It didn't fully penetrate his mind, but it was enough to pass on the information.
This information led him straight between Kovir and Poviss, as Kaer Seren is the name of the castle of the old School of the Griffin. And that place was not chosen without reason by Coral, after all, there is a lot of chaos energy there, especially since the Griffin witchers are more specialized in signs than any others.
"So be it..." Madara murmured.
He knew where it was, he just didn't have any quick means of getting there. So, quickly, he slammed the ground with force. The area exploded, uprooting trees everywhere and scaring animals, making space for the green-winged creature.
"Hm?" Ignavros was dazed from being pulled out like that.
"I need you to take me somewhere," Madara said, standing on his head.
"Leave it to me!" Ignavros didn't complain this time and took off.
A few moons ago, there had been chaos in the Valley of Dragons. Now he had come to respect Madara after everything he had done — helping to protect him and even fighting against golden dragons. Even the queen of dragons recognized Ignavros, even though he was still a simple dragon in dragon society.
"It's been a while, Lord Madara," Ignavros replied while flying at high speed to where Madara pointed, heading toward the coast.
Madara looked at him, glancing downward as he tried not to think about Ciri. He would help Isabela first, then return. "Why are you using 'Lord Madara' to address me?" he asked, with his arms crossed over the dragon's head.
"The queen recognized you as a great warrior. You know... even though I am still weak and a low-blood dragon, I am still the dragon you chose to ride," he said, as if it were a great honor.
Madara raised an eyebrow. Until recently, he hated being his mount, tried to escape and resisted, but Madara was far too powerful — and even had techniques to pull him back using summoning.
Now he was acting as if it were an honor.
What was going on? Madara stared at him with a raised eyebrow.
"So be it," was all he replied in the end.
"The queen would like to meet you," Ignavros said suddenly.
"That red dragon? Sorry, I'm a bit busy right now," Madara replied, shrugging.
"But she insisted a lot that, the next time you summoned me, I should pass on the request. For you to go to the Valley of Dragons."
"It's very likely you won't see me again anytime soon. I'm about to leave this world, Ignavros. So our meeting may take a while. I hope she understands," he said, not being very excited about seeing that red dragon again—why would he do that?
Ignavros seemed surprised. "Another world? Where are you going, Lord Madara?" he asked, stunned.
"I still don't know," was all Madara said, as he continued guiding the dragon toward the fortress of the School of the Griffin witchers by the sea.
"You can go over it," Madara said, and the dragon continued at an altitude far above the fortress.
Madara looked at the castle and activated the sharingan, saw two silhouettes inside it and found Isabela. So she was here.
"I'm going. Goodbye, Ignavros. Until the day we meet again."
With those words, Madara simply jumped off Ignavros's head, who didn't even have time to respond. His summoning was canceled, and he turned into a cloud of smoke, disappearing.
Madara began to fall in freefall, advancing toward the castle below. He clenched his hands as he focused on gathering natural energy with his current lack of chakra. Marks began to appear on his face as he completed Hashirama's Sage Mode.
He collided directly with the ground, exploding near the castle, before stepping out of the crater.
-Boom!-
"What was that?" Coral heard the crash coming from outside, which made her go to the window of the abandoned castle.
"How strange..." she frowned, before turning her attention back to Isabela, who was tied to an experimentation chair, looking with a certain terror. Her mouth was covered, preventing her from speaking.
"Well, let's get out of here immediately. I don't like this," Coral said cautiously, not believing that someone could be following her after that confusion and the uncertainty that the fight against those creatures had ended so soon.
She hadn't even begun torturing the girl to obtain information, since she first tried to search for secrets in her mind, but couldn't penetrate it due to unknown protections. Her intention now was to achieve that through torture.
She turned to gather her things, but suddenly found Madara standing in front of her.
He didn't use teleportation to stop his fall earlier because, even if he teleported, he would still be falling at high speed, and with little chakra, it would be a problem—he needed to conserve it. That's why he absorbed natural energy to enter Sage Mode.
How did he obtain natural energy in a world without chakra?
He could reverse chaos itself into chakra. With the knowledge he acquired upon reaching 60% of the system, it took him a little over a year to master this, since it wasn't easy, mainly leaving his clones to do the work. This world did not possess chakra, so he needed to use the existing energy—chaos—and reverse it into natural chakra, since chaos itself is drawn from the elements and everything in this world.
The energy entered his body violently, and he needed to filter it and transform it into spiritual energy to replenish his reserves.
It was something that shouldn't work, but the system gave him that ability.
Why waste it?
For him, it was easy to enter the castle after stepping out of the crater created by his body falling from over 10,000 feet. He wasn't injured even with that fall, with his body having Sage Mode to strengthen it.
Now he was there, in front of Coral.
Before she could even understand what was happening, a kick from Madara struck her neck. She didn't have time to react. The impact hit directly on the larynx and clavicle, cracking her bones, sending her backward with her neck bent inward in an unnatural way, unable to make any sound other than a muffled groan, like a scream of pain trapped in her throat by the immense agony and lack of air.
She was thrown against the wall.
She was unable to cast a spell or even breathe.
Coral looked at Madara in horror, short of breath and afraid.
Madara recognized that look. "You must be wondering how I got here, right? Well, that doesn't matter," he said.
"As long as you hadn't crossed the line, I wouldn't have acted against you. But it seems it was only a matter of time, wasn't it?"
Madara looked at Isabela on the torture chair; she hadn't been touched yet, but she was about to be, with so many torture tools that Coral had beside her.
Isabela stared at Madara with relief and hope in her eyes.
Madara turned back to Coral. "Your obsession with me ends today, Coral," he said.
Coral still tried to speak, but she was unable to. Madara activated his Sharingan and began to search her mind. Quickly, he discovered her obsession — an obsession with power. She saw him as a tool that would give her someone by her side to dominate the entire world.
She saw the Susanoo that night, and a feeling of wanting that arose in her mind.
She wanted his love. She felt envy of Ciri, envy of Yennefer.
In the end, she was just a petty woman.
Madara stared at her for a moment and shook his head. It was time to end this.
She only saw Madara raising his hand as lightning emerged. A spear of purple lightning began to manifest, extending like a line and struck her neck, cutting it completely.
She was a lone wolf. After discovering, through some contacts and investigation, starting from some rumors, that Isabela had some connection with Madara, Coral decided to try to find out more through her. She saw how Isabela had reacted with Madara and how he himself treated her at the banquet. Coral saw in that a chance to get closer to Madara.
She also had the intention of killing Ciri and trying to replace her...
Coral's death would not be mourned.
Madara sighed and returned to Isabela, beginning to remove everything that held her to the chair.
"Madara... I was scared..." she said, starting to cry as soon as she could speak.
Before even getting up from the chair, she tried to hug him, and he accepted the embrace, pulling her close.
"It's all right now. Let's go back," he said.
She nodded.
He didn't waste time. He left only a hidden kunai at the place in case he wanted to return, before disappearing, still using Sage Mode to be able to teleport such a long distance.
He already had only 10% of his chakra, and using teleportation to the north of the continent, then summoning a dragon and using the Sharingan, consumed even more.
He was practically exhausting himself with only 8% of chakra left.
The headache, as if his existence were failing, continued. Even so, he needed to keep going.
His surroundings changed, and he found himself in the same place where Ciri had been before. He went straight to Geralt, who was standing looking at the portal, a bit surprised to see Madara and Isabela appear there, which broke the somewhat melancholic atmosphere.
"You're here!" said Yennefer, with tears in her eyes.
"What happened?" Madara asked immediately.
Without waiting for an answer, he activated his Sharingan on Yennefer, seeing everything she had witnessed in her memories.
In a blink, he understood.
Madara looked at the portal. "She... is already gone..." he said.
"Will you be able to reach her?" Geralt asked carefully.
More than six minutes had already passed, as the unicorn had said.
Whatever Ciri had gone to do on the other side, she must have already done it.
Isabela still didn't understand anything there, as she remained silent listening to their conversation; despite her doubts, she didn't ask anything. Geralt and Yennefer seemed far too sad...
They didn't know how Madara could reach her.
Madara observed the portal, approaching it, touching the runes, and sighed.
He took a scroll from his waist and opened it. Then, he removed some things. With a burst of smoke, two bottles with a red liquid appeared. It was blood.
"I don't have the ability to travel between worlds, but Ciri does. She gave me some of her blood almost two years ago, when the Wild Hunt began to become a threat for the first time. If I follow this, it may help me find her. I haven't used it until today," Madara said, looking at the portal.
"Her blood..." Yennefer murmured, surprised, trying to understand where Madara was going with this.
He began to place it into a small container and approached the runes, filling the shapes in the portal's arch and began placing fuinjutsu symbols around the portal with her blood.
He also made a sealing circle using his own sealing techniques, which should take him directly to where she was.
After all, he didn't have that unicorn to provide her location. He would follow Ciri's trail directly.
He also placed four clones at each corner of the area. Meanwhile, he began to activate his chakra.
Ciri's blood began to glow, something very similar to that scene of the Rikudou using the Hokages of Edo Tensei, plus the kages of the impure world, like souls, to form a space-time jutsu to bring Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Sakura, and the bijuus back when they were all in another dimension taken by Kaguya at the end.
But Madara wasn't trying to bring her back. He was trying to reach her.
The blood began to glow intensely, flowing from the clones and advancing through the stones until the portal, illuminating the entire arch. In the next moment, a green explosion emerged, and the portal opened again.
Madara watched, nodding in satisfaction for having succeeded. He then turned to the others.
"I took Yennefer's memories, and I feel that Ciri spoke the truth, I feel that..."
"We won't see each other for a long time, will we?" Yennefer interrupted him, wiping the new tears forming in her eyes.
"Ciri said the same thing..." Geralt said, pressing his lips together.
"Are you leaving?" Isabela asked, with a shocked look; for the first time, she was understanding what all of that was.
"Most likely we'll be away for a while. Know that we will return as soon as we have the opportunity. So I need you to stay safe and take care of things... of our son and the others," Madara murmured.
Geralt nodded. Yennefer was crying, and Isabela seemed stunned.
"Yennefer, may I ask you to take care of Isabela while we're away?" he asked.
"Of course," she replied.
Madara nodded. He used the last remnants of natural chakra to create a fifth clone.
This clone had more chakra than the others.
"I'll leave this clone here to check on things. It won't be destroyed while I'm out of range. I also won't receive its memories, but it will stay here to carry out my will and deal with any situation in the coming days, after all this mess," Madara explained.
Yennefer nodded and approached him, giving him a hug. "Please... come back safe, son," she said with tears.
At the beginning, she saw him as a tool — someone who could give her power. But over time, she began to see him as the son she could never have naturally, just as she saw Ciri as her daughter.
"Take care, Madara. Take care of Ciri. There's no one who can do that better than you," Geralt said, firmly shaking Madara's hand.
Madara nodded.
Isabela also approached, with tears in her eyes. "When will you come back? You said I would be your sorceress, that I would help you rule Cintra. Ciri said we could build a prosperous place for everyone... where people wouldn't suffer, that we could give opportunities to people like I was before..." Isabela began to speak, crying.
Madara hugged her. "It will be done... but everything in its time. Now there are things I need to do. I need to protect my wife and what is to come. It seems that my life depends on her now. And you will be my sorceress, as I always planned. So complete your studies. Yennefer, take care of her for us as well..."
With those words, Madara let go of everyone.
"And most importantly... please, take care of my son. Goodbye."
Everyone nodded.
Madara then stepped forward to the circle and moved toward the portal. In the next moment, he entered without hesitation.
He created a layer of Susanoo around himself, not knowing if that spatial energy could be harmful, using it as a shield as he advanced.
The instant he entered, the portal began to close. The lights around it disappeared. Ciri's blood evaporated, and the four clones also vanished.
Just like Ciri, Madara had made his first transport between worlds.
Leaving only Madara's clone, Geralt, Yennefer, and Isabela standing there, in that room.
