Just as Wooheon was about to text the restaurant, Yueul gave him a nudge with his elbow.
“What? You don’t like the idea?”
“No, it’s not that. It’s just....”
Yueul rose onto his toes and brought his lips close to Wooheon’s ear.
“You’re supposed to ask if it’s okay first. Like, ‘Would you mind if I ordered from the anthropomorph place?’”
That soft, kind whisper landed right in his ear.
He didn’t even have fur, but his whole body felt like his hair was standing on end.
Wooheon cleared his throat, his ears turning red.
“It just sounds more polite, you know? The other person might not want it.”
Wooheon wanted to say, ‘The slow loris isn’t going to answer anyway, and you would say yes no matter what,’ but he stopped himself.
The breath brushing his ear had already erased the rest of his thoughts.
He pressed a hand to Yueul’s forehead, trying to clear his head.
Only then did his brain start working properly again.
