Valyha had returned to the castle through some sort of flying metal carriage.
The night was dark, deep into the morning far past midnight. Her eyes were droopy as she threw herself in bed.
Thankfully her servants had already had her room and bed prepared. All Valyha had to do was bathe and change into lighter garments. Her maidens had insisted on assisting her while she bathed but she commanded them not to enter her room.
As Valyha left the bathing chamber, she tied a pink robe around her body.
She stretched before jumping in bed. She let the softness of the pillows take over as she could finally rest her eyelids.
"Why didn't your Maidens clean and dress you?" A deep voice echoed in the silence.
A loud scream tore through the air as Valyha jumped out of the bed. Only to be held back and pulled by a pair of arms that settled her on edge of the bed.
"Be careful. You might actually hurt yourself, your body is not as it was before," The voice spoke again.
Valyha's body began shaking as her eye beheld a certain smudged man sitting on her bed. Like a calm giant ready to pounce on her. She could not see the man clearly without her glasses but she recognized those two blood pools staring back at her.
"You look pale as a ghost," the man said in a cold monotone voice. "What are you scared?"
Valyha pointed with a gasp. "You. You. You. You. What are you doing here, Demon!"
"You still use that barbaric word. It seems you were not trained well?" Najeer said with strong distaste in his voice.
"When did you get here!" Valyha turned to look at the door surprised. She had not heard it open after she came in.
That could only mean he was here... before she got inside. Before she bathed.
Najeer could already see the terrified look in her eyes. "I wanted to speak when you came in but before I could, you had already dropped your clothes and walked to take a bath."
Valyha's face heated like she would turn a thousand shades of red.
That meant he saw her naked!
"Have you no respect? Why didn't you say anything!" Valyha inhaled while pinching the bridge of her nose..
"I do have no respect," Najeer answered calmly. "I think you know why."
Valyha sucked in air. It was like she was looking at a mirrior. But this time the domineering monarch was on the other side and, not her!
Evil man. Very Evil man!
Valyha's eyes watered as she held back some wrathful emotions. To get a reaction that's what these type of people wanted. No chance she was giving it to him.
Valyha crossed her arms as she looked away angry, hiding her embarrassment. She hated when her enemies saw her weak. "What are you doing here?" Her words came out calmly.
Najeer frowned as his eyes darkened. Like he was annoyed by something.
"You didn't wait for me in the garden," Najeer stated coldly.
"You were the one who sent me that message!" Valyha's eyes widened. She knew she wasn't going mad.
Quickly she tightened her robe very securely.
"Why did you want to see me?" Valyha said as she thought at the same time.
This was the first time she was meeting with the white haired man since the ice incident. He seemed more calm than that day it was strange because she had never been in the same room, just the two of them.
"How are you adapting to life in the palace?" Najeer asked, his voice was calm, void of any form of care.
Valyha's eyebrows furrowed. "Want to know how bad your prisoner has been suffering?"
"Yes, infact actually."
Valyha kept a smug look as she resisted the urge to cry. The leader of all her enemies was seated right here in front of her and she couldn't do a thing to kill him. Tragedies as this should not even be written.
Valhya crossed her arms and smiled. "My palace at home has better luxuries, but I'm actually enjoying the place. It's almost like I never left earth."
"Is that so?"
Her eyes narrowed unable to tell what was going through his head'
"Do you really think degrading a high queen as myself to a mere courtesan role would humiliate me," Valyha faked a laugh, "please, you'd have to do better than that."
His eyes were dark as he remained silent. Suddenly the air in the room suddenly shifted. "Humuliation, is that what you think I am doing?"
"Me being here, in this bed, tonight, it is all a Humiliation ritual." Valhya answered with certainty. Afterall she had seen it before.
"If this was a humiliation ritual, don't you think I would do it, properly?" Najeer replied back.
"Why this is proper enough. I've felt humiliated in ways I can't even express, ever since I came here," Valyha accidentally confessed withholding her anger. Wait.
"So you are bothered," Najeer said.
"No I am not." Valyha lied refusing to give him the satisfaction.
"Which one is it?" he answered in a scaryingly calm tone.
"I am perfectly fine here. I don't care about anything that's happening really. You can go on with this mind game or torture me, I don't care."
He went silent. Yet again, Valyha couldn't tell what he was thinking. It was unsettling you could say.
"I want to propose a contract," Najeer said suddenly. Changing the subject.
Ah the reason why he was here.
