Back in the special dimension Kyla-el created for the thruple worked tirelessly for a way to help their goddess comeback one way or the other.
Karen, otherwise known as bumblebee pulled out her exoskeleton arms and a laptop working hard on something, Victor was floating in a lotus position assimilating his motherbox in his being completely while delving deeper into it's functions as Jinx enveloped them in her magic.
She had much better control and power now that she could buff up their success rate by leaps and bounds. The area was filled with pink purple aura elevating thought speed for someone like Victor who already has fast thought process that a specced up of processor on earth and elevating Karen's problem-solving skills.
The realm had an evening sun that never seemed to set or rise except for clouds that occasionally sped by, there were peaks of mountains covered with seas of clouds but the thruple was on the highest peak in that realm, finding a solution, anything that could help in this war.
Victor was sending data in real time to Karen's mainframe, and she processed it to make sense out of it. Luckily, Victor already knew alien technology so converting alien machine learning code into code Karen was familiar with was easy.
"Alright, that's it! I am all out of juice. I feel like I have been sharing my energy with you guys for months!" Jinx exclaimed and fell on her back but not before Victor caught, and she could only blush and kiss his bicep.
"It might as well be. Speaking of bees…" Victor teased, turning to Karen who gave a tired smile and could barely roll her eyes also fell into Victor's right arm feeling warm and safe in his embrace.
"What were you guys able to find? Please tell me we did something? I mean this was like the first time my magic didn't jeopardise allies and I could control it for this long, I hope you made the best of it? fuuckkk so tired…" Jinx said as went down to rest her head on Victors' crotch while Karen adjusted herself on a nice smooth part of the summit till her ass became a makeshift pillow for Victors head.
"Fuck! Your head is so hot right now, hahaha… reminds me of my old computer back in high school." Karen gigged, her laughs sending vibrations down her body like a soft massage for Victor's weary head.
"Let's just… close our eyes… for a…" Victor yawned, tucking his head right between Karen's 'pillows' finding his favourite warm spot, and it did not take long for the thruple to be fast asleep.
As if in the next moment, the thruple sensed a tear in the dimension and woke up groggily but alert as they adjusted themselves and wiped off any drool they had on their faces, they wouldn't want to be caught lacking.
"WHO ARE YOU???!!!" Victor bellowed as his form glowed blue at the edges, Jinx immediately buffed them up and Karen was nowhere to be seen, her size alteration was much better now that she was smaller than an ant.
"Wait… nooooo… noooo…" Jinx said as she flew up to catch the falling deathly pale figure.
"Who could do this to you?" Jinx asked the Karen returned to normal size appearing beside Jinx along with Victor.
"That… doesn't… matter… now… see… see… Stacy… please…" Kyla-el said but passed out before she could continue, and her body immediately dispersed from Jinx's grasp and appeared a top the highest mountain peak on a broken throne that wasn't completely made all the way to the top with Kyla-el looking like a smitten king atop the throne.
Defensive barriers around the mountain range were set up but barely, as if it lacked enough resources or energy, it was then Jinx poured her magic on the barriers and on the mountain summit, although her magic couldn't reach Kyla-el because of Kyla-el's barrier it buffed it up.
Jinx looked back at Victor and Karen who had solemn gazes on and stood in the air, watching the passed out god, recovering on the broken throne.
"Let us leave for our next destination. We have to be quick." Victor said as space twisted around them, and they appeared on a desolate planet and found a six-foot two blue statue of WonderWoman floating idly, it appeared that Diana was slowly recovering from her abnormal status slowly, and Starfire floating around carefree with what looked like a plant stem in her mouth as she observed the stars above.
"You're here. Kyla-el's reinforcements, huh?" Starfire said dryly as she landed in front of them.
'The way they appeared is peculiar indeed, no boomtube but still I could feel that the laws of space were used here.' Starfire thought to herself and moved closer to the group as the bowed before her.
"Rise. We have souls to gather." Starfire said, her eyes glowing with wicked determination.
"So far so good, I think I have mastered the laws of space thanks to the help of my motherbox and studying her boomtube warping technologies. I had immense help from Karen with her different perspective and smart thinking, Jinx here more than helped us solidify our understanding rate." Victor said making his report concise and straight to the point.
"With Victor's help I could understand the technology of the new gods even more and Jinx's help made it easier to assimilate it into mine and further understanding other concepts of the mother box. Here, let me show you." Karen said as she squeezed her fist and immediately, everyone felt the change.
"Gravity control." Karen smiled and pointed left as Jinx's eyes widened and felt a force pushing down on her side.
"Matter and nanomachines manipulation. Usually, I would send code to my nanomachines to act independently unlike Victor who is freely assimilated with them but now I too can." Karen said as she moved her hands, and bright orange light filled it and reached out to Jinx, donning her with a suit of armour.
"I see." Starfire said plainly.
'I don't want to doubt them but okay, let me trust them.' Starfire thought and could tell that the subjects before her could tell but she couldn't care less. Something inside her was broken and needed fixing. She could do anything now to–
"It may not seem like much but I believe we can do it. Please can you share with us what you know before we go into battle to capture the fragments of our goddess to make her whole once again." Victor said as Starfire smiled. Whenever Victor had a plan it was always a solid one, this took her back to their heroes.
"Alright, lets–" Starfire immediately stopped as everything on that desolate planet trembled.
"I wonder what baldy is up to?" Harley Quinn said, referring to lex and his group as she observed her target's new base of operations through her divine senses by looking through the hole in her fingers making an 'okay sign' as she sat on the clouds above Gotham and her familiars snickered in tandem. She looked more like the portrait of a trickster god up to no good the way she was acting now.
"Alright my cuties, show me what you can do, we need to tell everyone what's happening, but… what the hell is BB doing in the enemies camp?" Harley said as she shifted her gaze elsewhere where she found Beast Boy with Terra and Damien interacting freely as if nothing had happened before now.
"What the? No way, BB is sleeping with the ene–"
Terra at that moment sat on Beast Boy's laps and kissed him while Damien scowled, rolling his eyes in disgust.
"I need to save BB! He's been corrupted by the enemy."
"Hold on there Harls. I don't think you should–" Donna appeared behind her, stopping any act from the clown goddess.
"Hmm??? And what can you do to stop me? You are clearly weaker than me!" Harley said with a wicked smile as her eyes glinted, and she pulled a gun on Donna.
"Really?" Donna thought about it for a second too late, realising who Harley was now, she immediately put up her guard.
