The inquisitors asked their questions with stone-faced seriousness. The priestesses spoke at length, testifying to the Fairy King's divinity, the sacred nature of the temple, and the Fairy King's ability to grant the gift of magic. I'm sure it fell on deaf ears.
Some time after, I watched from a discreet vantage point as two knights escorted the inquisitors toward the city gates. They walked without protest, maintaining stiff, dignified postures. Thankfully, they left without issue.
