"Babe? Babe, please open up. I can explain. Avery."
"Go away, Alex. I don't wanna talk."
"Babe..."
"Let her be, Alex. Today has been a lot for her," Aurora said, clutching her necklace.
Alex scoffed at her. He turned towards her.
"Yeah, maybe if you told her she had a father, none of this would've happened."
Aurora gasped at his words.
"How dare you. You. You shouldn't be talking to your wife's mother that way." Damien chipped in.
"What was I expecting? You knocked my daughter up and haven't married her yet."
The door slammed open. Avery stood there with her eyes full of tears.
"Both of you, please leave. I can't deal with this right now. I can't"
Avery's knees buckled as she covered her eyes.
"Babe,"
"Avery,"
"Leave!"
Aurora and Alex looked at each other, then left.
_
In his study room. The moonlight filled the room as Alex told the guys about today's incident.
"Wait, Red Bull is Avery's father? Stefan asked.
"Oh shit."
"Wait, if Avery is Red Bull's daughter, then that means..
"Greyson is related to her." Both Stefan and Samuel said.
"Damn, double trouble."
Alex rubbed his hands on his face and leaned back in his chair.
"This is getting out of hand," Alex said.
"Fuck yeah, it is."
A knock filled the room before it was opened.
"I never said you could come in," Alex said to the intruder.
"And I don't give a fuck." Damien said as he walked into the room.
Alex hung up on his call with the guys.
Damien poured himself a glass of liquor and sat down.
"Why haven't you married my daughter?"
Alex clenched his jaw.
"I will."
"When?"
Alex shifted in his seat.
"Soon."
"Soon isn't an answer, Alexander."
Damien walked towards the floor- to- ceiling window.
"I'd be expecting a reasonable answer."
Alex let out a breath.
"How's Greyson doing?
Alex cleared his throat before answering.
"He's fine."
"I see.
"Are. Are they related?"
Damien looked at Alex through the reflection of the window.
"They are."
After the long silence.
"Why are you here?"
"For revenge and my family."
