The boy smiled cheerfully toward Chaz. It unknowingly makes Chaz skip a beat. Never in his life had he felt that unknown sensation. He finds the boy in front of him adorable.
"Sure," answered Chaz.
"Okay, then. So, what is your name, senior? My name is Aven. My major is business management. How about you?" said the boy.
Chaz was a bit taken aback as there was someone in this university who did not know him, but he still answered the boy or Aven, "Chaz. Mechanical engineering."
"Oh, my! Well, can I get your LINE? I want to add you so we can easily chat." Said Aven.
Chaz, without hesitation, took out the phone from his pocket. Open the LINE app and show his QR. Aven, who is already prepared to scan, happily scans the QR code. The smile seemingly does not fade from his face. Chaz cannot easily take his eyes away from that smile. He is so lovely.
Well, he is one of the freshmen who was posted in the Community to be among the good-looking. Aven, the first-year business student, became a topic about how cute and good-looking he is. Some said he looks like an AI just to show how unreal he looks. It became quite an uproar as not only women were interested in him, but also men. This boy can pull both.
Chaz cannot help but smile, looking at the figure in front of him. For the first time, he cannot hold his heart. It beat vigorously. He never fell in love, and only ever
heard that if someone falls in love, their heart will race like crazy. Now that he is in this situation, he already knows what his heart wanted to tell him.
"Oh, my I need to go now. I have things to do, so please excuse me! See you soon". Said Aven.
Chaz nodded and said goodbye. He does want to talk more and get to know more, but Aven looks like in a hurry. He does not want to hold him. There is some sadness he feels, but what can he do? Even though he is known to be a brave man who gets straight to the point, for the first time, he feels he needs to take caution.
Chaz sees that Aven has left. He also got up and walked to the guy who was appointed to collect the pairs' names. He told his and Aven's names. After that, he left the class.
He takes out his phone and stares at the newly added contact number. He unknowingly smiles. This new feeling he had never felt intrigued him to do something to keep it and catch it. He determines and means it.
He messaged his friend group after that long stare. In his mind, many things are already circling what he needs to do to get the boy. Still, he is also a hopeless romantic, so he decides to ask for help, and the only hope is the Trio.
Well, do they know about love? Nope, they are also hopeless in romance, as Neil's first and last girlfriend cheated on him, and he tried to date a man, but the same result occurred. While Larry, as a professional playboy, never stays in relationships for more than a month, changing one after another. So, nope. It just shows how surprised they are not by the bluntness of the statement that comes out of his mouth, but by the content of it. Their ice-cold friend actually has some that melts his heart.
Neil's excitement cannot be hidden. He was partially screaming and holding his friend's hand, "Are you sure? Who is it? The ice cold guy like you at last find someone?!" Said Neil with full curiosity.
Frank, the reserve friend, chuckles and smiles so big, happy to hear the news. Larry just went silent because of shock. They had always thought he was just numb to feeling, especially love, as he seemed not to care about it.
"Just a kid named Aven from business," answered Chaz. Neil, who always keeps up with the University news, hurriedly takes out his phone and swipes through the Community page. He showed the phone to Chaz after stopping scrolling through a boy's picture. "This Aven?" said Neil.
Chaz looked closely and frowned. He feels annoyed seeing the Community page that Neil shows him. It is a picture of Aven walking toward the Business building. He feels bothered by the fact that Aven was actually known by others before him.
"Who's the admin?" asked Chaz.
"Why do you ask?" asked Neil, who was still waiting for the answer to whether he was right or not.
