Before anyone could respond, a familiar male voice drifted in from the side.
"So that's what everyone is arguing about?"
Theo.
He strolled into the courtyard as if he had been invited all along. His eyes passed over the gathered girls, damp skin, flushed faces, loosened practice clothes, and the many shapes only half concealed by fresh sweat. The sight alone made his smile turn a little too pleased.
Almost by instinct, he gravitated toward the two girls nearest to the center of the argument - Shaia and Lora. He slipped an arm around each waist, pulling them into his embrace.
Lora blushed.
Shaia grinned instantly.
Theo drew them in against his sides, feeling the heat still lingering from their training. One had soft curves and a shy tension that turned sweeter under his touch; the other had a playful body that naturally asked to be teased. He looked between them with exaggerated seriousness.
