Chapter 205 - The World in Fear

Season - 2 Starts

The world had just witnessed a terrifying war—one so unbelievable that people struggled to accept it as reality.

Because of the strange events that had unfolded, the most powerful nations and governments across the globe were thrown into panic. No one could understand how they were supposed to believe what they had just seen.

U.S.A. — White House, Meeting Hall

A fair-skinned man in a formal suit rushed into a large meeting hall.

The room was dimly lit. America's top leaders were watching footage of the battle between Om and the monsters on a giant screen. Every face in the room was filled with shock.

For decades, the world had believed that the United States, Russia, and China were the most mysterious nations on Earth. People claimed America had contact with aliens. Others believed China was secretly creating deadly viruses. Countless conspiracy theories surfaced every day.

The fake moon landing theory...

Stories about aliens appearing in America...

Reports of UFOs flying across the skies...

Rumors about strange and terrifying weapons...

People created endless theories, but the truth behind them had always remained hidden.

The man hurried toward the President and whispered something into his ear.

President Mark Russo, a fifty-five-year-old man and the President of the United States, was known for being as cunning as a fox and one of the most powerful political figures in the country.

The moment he heard the message, he shifted his attention away from the battle footage. Looking around at everyone in the room, he smiled and said,

"Isn't it fascinating? About a century ago, India was a nation under foreign rule. Yet today, it seems India possesses secrets even we know nothing about."

"Makes me wonder if we truly understand what's happening in the world anymore."

"Has America become this weak?"

The hall instantly fell silent.

Officials exchanged uneasy glances, but nobody answered.

Seeing their silence, the President rose from his chair and walked toward the massive screen displaying the battle. He stared at the footage for a few seconds before slamming his fist onto the table.

"OH FOR GOD'S SAKE, SAY SOMETHING, YOU IDIOTS!"

His voice echoed through the room.

"Can't you see how powerful those creatures are? Somebody tell me what they are!"

"Are they aliens? Where did they come from?"

"Give me something!"

"Because if we don't understand them, how are we supposed to stop them?"

"We need to do something!"

And this wasn't the condition of America alone.

It was the condition of the entire world.

Nobody knew what those creatures were.

Nobody knew where they had come from.

But everyone had seen the terror they were capable of unleashing.

Every nation was afraid.

What if another attack happened?

How would they protect themselves?

Yes, they possessed nuclear weapons.

But for the first time in history, even nuclear weapons no longer felt reassuring.

Many leaders secretly doubted whether those monsters could be stopped at all.

While the world trembled in fear, Om was carrying his grandfather's body back home.

Descending from the sky, he landed near the gates of his house.

He was so consumed by grief that he didn't even realize how fast he had fallen.

The instant his feet touched the ground, the earth shook violently around him.

Inside the house, the tremor sent everyone into panic.

Their faces were already swollen from crying. Shock, grief, and fear had drained every bit of color from them.

Tears stained their cheeks.

Sharda and Vijay immediately pulled the children into their arms protectively.

Manoj did the same.

But the moment they stepped outside and looked ahead, their souls froze.

There, on the road before them, stood Om.

His entire body was covered in blood.

Tears streamed down his face as he limped forward, carrying someone's lifeless body in his arms.

The second Sharda saw him, a cry escaped her lips.

"Om... my child!"

But Om didn't react.

His eyes remained fixed on his grandfather.

Step after painful step, he continued walking forward.

Seeing the body in Om's arms, Vijay released Riya and hurried down the stairs. Tears filled his eyes as he spoke in a trembling voice.

"That's... a body, isn't it?"

He looked toward Sharda.

"Sharda... whose body is that?"

No one answered.

Everyone simply stared at Om while tears continued to fall.

Suddenly Vijay shouted,

"I asked whose body that is!"

At that moment, Manoj stepped beside his brother and placed a hand on his shoulder.

Vijay turned toward him.

The two brothers looked at each other, both struggling to hold themselves together.

Their eyes said what neither wanted to admit.

With a broken voice, Vijay asked once more,

"Whose... body... is it?"

Manoj finally answered.

"It's Father."

The words shattered whatever strength remained.

Pulling his brother into an embrace, Manoj broke down.

A few moments later, Om finally reached them.

Looking at his family, he cried,

"Uncle... Aunt..."

"I... I couldn't save anyone."

"I couldn't save Grandfather..."

"And I couldn't save Dad either..."

"I couldn't save them."

The moment those words left his mouth, Om gently placed his grandfather's body on the ground.

Then his knees gave way.

He collapsed and cried with all the pain buried inside him.

When Vipul and Manoj saw their father's blood-covered body, they could no longer control themselves.

Slowly, they walked forward and knelt beside him.

Then both brothers broke down, crying uncontrollably.

Nearby, Sharda and the children stood frozen, tears flowing endlessly as they watched the heartbreaking scene unfold.

Since Om's powers had awakened, this was the first time such tragedy had entered their family.

Om looked at everyone.

He watched them cry.

He watched their world fall apart.

And suddenly, he remembered his grandfather's words.

If you continue living like an immature child, one day you won't be able to save anyone—not even your own family.

The memory pierced deeper than any wound.

Just then, Manoj placed a hand on Om's shoulder.

In a soft, trembling voice, he asked,

"Om... son... where is our elder brother?"

For a moment, Om simply stared at him.

Then, without speaking a single word, he slowly shook his head.

Manoj understood immediately.

The pain in his eyes deepened.

He pulled Om into a tight embrace and began crying once again.

But before anyone could say another word...

A powerful gust of wind swept across the area.

Everyone looked up.

Something enormous was hovering above the house.

It resembled a helicopter, yet it was unlike any aircraft they had ever seen before.

The air around it roared violently.

The massive flying machine remained suspended directly over Om's home.

Om and his family stared at it in shock.

But unlike everyone else...

Om wasn't shocked.

He was angry.

A cold, serious expression spread across his face as he continued staring at the mysterious aircraft above them.

And for the first time since returning home...

The grief in his eyes was slowly being replaced by something far more dangerous.

Rage.
