Chapter 204 - The Boy Who Challenged the Demons

After his father disappeared, Om stood silently, staring at the ground with tears in his eyes.

But the very next second—

He looked up.

His tears stopped.

Rage burned across his face as he glared at the sky and screamed at the top of his lungs—

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

His voice shook the barren land.

"Rakshas or Bhakshak… whoever you are… can you hear me?!"

His fists tightened violently.

"Remember this… whoever you took away from me today…"

His eyes turned blood red with fury.

"I will take revenge for all of this."

"I, Om Ahuja…"

"…am coming to destroy you."

His voice echoed through the skies like a challenge thrown directly at death itself.

"WAIT FOR ME!"

Slowly, the dark sky began clearing.

With Vipul's disappearance, the massive energy shield created from his divine powers also started fading away little by little.

Far away from the battlefield, Kakbhushundi Ji—who had been silently watching the entire war from a distance since the beginning—looked ahead sadly and spoke in a low voice,

"It seems… a new era is beginning now."

A faint smile crossed his face.

"Dhoomketu… I hope you finally find peace now."

"Wherever you are, my friend… stay happy."

Meanwhile, Om stood there silently, still staring at the sky with emptiness in his eyes.

Beside him, Adi and Number Zero—Shivay—quietly watched him, unsure what to say.

A few moments later, the barrier fully disappeared.

And the instant it vanished—

The world reconnected.

Once again, satellites across the globe focused on the destroyed barren land in Japan, desperate to see the outcome of the terrifying battle.

But the moment Adi and Shivay looked around carefully, they realized something had changed.

Several military helicopters were now hovering above the area.

And not far from them stood a group of strange-looking people.

At the front stood a woman wearing a royal crown and ancient battle armor. Her expression was serious and commanding.

Behind her stood several others dressed in similarly unusual warrior outfits.

The moment the barrier disappeared, all of them immediately started walking toward Om, Adi, and Shivay.

As they moved closer, they froze in shock.

Jeevanashini's dead body lay on the ground.

Nearby was what remained of Vyomasur.

And not far away…

Balasur's severed beast-like head.

But it wasn't just them watching.

The moment the satellite connection returned, the entire world once again witnessed the aftermath unfolding in that barren region of Japan.

Back at the Ahuja house, the family—already crushed beneath unbearable grief—stared at the live television broadcast in complete shock.

Their eyes desperately searched for Om…

For Vipul…

For Dhoomketu…

Everyone sat frozen before the television screen.

Meanwhile, the Queen of Badallok—Neerjadevi—slowly moved forward alongside Dragon King, Ambu, and Sarpdoot.

As they approached the battlefield, they looked at Jeevanashini and Vyomasur's bodies in disbelief.

But then—

Their eyes fell upon Om.

Standing there silently beside his grandfather's body.

The moment Neerjadevi saw Om, she became stunned.

But when her eyes landed on Dhoomketu's lifeless body—

Even she couldn't stop herself.

Tears rolled down her face.

Her legs began trembling weakly.

Still, gathering courage, she slowly walked toward Dhoomketu.

By the time she reached near him, she was almost about to collapse—

When suddenly, a voice echoed inside her mind.

"No… Queen…"

"This is not the right time to appear weak."

"You still have to take care of that child."

"The one suffering the most right now… is him."

"Do not forget your duty, Neerjadevi."

It was Kakbhushundi's voice.

Hearing those words, Neerjadevi steadied herself.

Taking a deep breath, she walked toward Om.

And for a moment…

She simply stared at him.

Om's face was strangely mesmerizing.

Even Neerjadevi—the Queen of Badallok, a woman known for complete control over her senses—couldn't stop herself from being drawn toward his presence.

But the moment she remembered her duty, her expression turned serious again.

Softly, she said,

"He loved you very much."

Om looked at Neerjadevi with tired eyes before turning back toward his grandfather's body.

He gave no reply.

Still, Neerjadevi continued,

"Om… everything he ever did…"

"…he did for you."

"To protect you."

"To make you stronger."

"You should honor that."

Her voice softened.

"He would never want you to stay broken because of him… nor would he want tears in your eyes because of him."

"So for his sake…"

"Calm your sorrow."

"Calm your anger."

"Because there's still a lot you need to do…"

"A lot you still need to know."

Then her eyes shifted toward Adi and Shivay.

"You two as well."

Om finally responded, though he never looked directly at her.

"Lady… goddess… demoness… whatever you are…"

"Right now, I don't want advice."

"I don't want explanations either."

His voice remained calm, but cold.

"I just want to give my grandfather a proper farewell."

"I'm taking him home."

"His final rites will happen with his family beside him."

Then finally, Om slightly turned his face toward them.

"You're all welcome to come…"

A faint pause followed.

"But please…"

"…wear normal human clothes."

"Thank you."

Without waiting for anyone's response, Om bent down and lifted Dhoomketu's body into his arms.

Then he looked toward Adi and Shivay.

"Thank you."

"For staying beside my father."

"For fighting for my grandfather."

"I'll always be grateful to both of you."

He paused for a moment.

"I don't have much time right now…"

"But maybe my father left some message with you."

"If you don't mind…"

"You know where I live."

"Please come find me later… and tell me everything."

And with that—

Om rose into the air carrying his grandfather's body.

Everyone could only stand there silently…

Watching him fly away.

Meanwhile, across the entire world—

The demons…

Om…

His grandfather…

And his father…

Had become the biggest news on the planet overnight.

The internet nearly crashed.

Everywhere people looked, there was only one topic being discussed.

News channels replayed the battle footage again and again while experts desperately tried analyzing it.

Questions flooded the internet:

"Who were those terrifying creatures?"

"Have aliens arrived on Earth?"

"Who were the three superhumans that saved the world?"

"Were they aliens… or some kind of secret scientific experiment?"

"Is the world in danger?"

"Was this real… or some kind of movie shoot?"

"Are humans safe anymore?"

"What is the government doing to protect us?"

"Can humanity even stop beings like them?"

"Who is that boy?"

"Is he a hero… or a threat?"

"How did they have powers like that?"

Conspiracies spread rapidly.

Some people believed the entire incident was fake.

Others believed Earth had just witnessed its first supernatural war.

Overnight, Om became known across the world.

But not everyone saw him as a hero.

Opinions were divided.

To some, Om was humanity's savior.

To others…

He was a danger that needed to be eliminated before it was too late.

For now, the war was over.

But evil wasn't.

In fact, the powers revealed during this battle had already caught the attention of many dangerous people across the world.

And now…

The real question was—

What would happen next?

How would this event change Om's life…

His family…

And the entire world itself?

What kind of future awaited Om Ahuja now?

Because whether he wanted it or not—

His life would never be normal again.
