"You filthy demon! I won't spare you for hurting my son!"
The moment Vipul saw Om lying helplessly on the ground, rage completely consumed him. Without thinking twice, he charged straight at Balasur. At the same time, Adi and the third masked boy joined the fight, engaging the three demons in a brutal clash.
Meanwhile, across the world, people watched the horrifying scene unfold live before their eyes.
For the very first time in human history, the world was witnessing people with supernatural powers… and terrifying creatures that looked beyond human imagination.
It was no longer just a battle.
It was a moment that would change history forever.
On one side, Kakbhushundi and Dhoomketu silently watched the war with grave expressions. Suddenly, a voice echoed inside Kakbhushundi's mind.
"Master… you already knew this battle was going to happen?"
Hearing Dhoomketu's voice, Kakbhushundi looked toward the sky and answered in a heavy tone,
"Yes. You know I travel through time. No possibility… no past… no future… no present remains hidden from me. But if your complaint is why I never told you any of this, then you also know that powers equal to the gods come with responsibilities… and conditions."
Dhoomketu immediately replied,
"No… that's not what I'm asking. I want to know what my duty is right now. What am I supposed to do? Because one thing is clear… neither I, nor my son, nor even my grandson can defeat these three demons right now. And the fact that all three of us are trapped in the same event at different stages of life… there has to be a reason behind it. Tell me honestly… are my son or my grandson standing at death's door?"
Hearing that, Kakbhushundi let out a slow breath before speaking,
"Dhoomketu… this moment exists to tear the fear out of that boy… to release the anger buried inside him… and to force him to face the truth of life. You know better than anyone how terrible his childhood has been. But even after all that, a fantasy world still lives inside him… a world that humans cannot survive in. He has goodness inside him. He has always fought against evil… but he still lacks the courage to truly kill evil. He cannot take a life… because fear still exists inside him."
Then Kakbhushundi's expression turned even more serious.
"I do not have an answer about your grandson's fate… but your son is already dead. He simply hasn't found peace yet."
Dhoomketu's eyes widened in shock.
Kakbhushundi continued,
"Till now, Om has only wasted his power. There is no seriousness within him yet. He must understand the value of life… and he must also learn that sometimes, taking the life of a monster or a wicked being becomes necessary to save others. Forgive me… but today, in front of the entire world… Om will have to spill blood."
The moment those words sank in, Dhoomketu froze.
Because he instantly understood what that meant.
If Om killed someone today in front of the entire world… people would not first see him as a hero.
They would see him as a murderer.
His voice filled with anger as he shouted back mentally,
"Master! Then the world will call Om a killer! Is that what you want? For people to fear him?"
Kakbhushundi calmly answered,
"He must show the world that he is a good man… and that he fights for them. But the road to becoming a hero… or a savior… was never going to be easy for Om. Perhaps he will have to stand against the very people he calls family… the same people he wants to protect. Perhaps after today, even the world may turn against him… but despite all of that, he must hold onto his goodness. And he must uncover the monsters hiding among humans."
Then Kakbhushundi looked directly toward Dhoomketu.
"This is Om's destiny. This is his life. And Dhoomketu… you are the key to all of it. You are the reason Om's life will change forever. That is why you are still alive till today. This… is your purpose."
After hearing everything, Dhoomketu finally understood.
A faint smile appeared on his face as he looked up at the sky.
"Master… protect my grandson. Just make sure he remains a good person. That is my only wish."
Kakbhushundi closed his eyes sadly and replied,
"So be it."
Meanwhile, Om still lay on the ground, struggling to understand what was happening around him. His vision had turned blurry, and everything felt distant.
But amidst the chaos… he kept hearing a familiar voice.
A voice from his childhood.
Memories of his father suddenly flashed through his mind… moments when he used to play with him as a child.
"Om… Om… careful!"
Today, the same voice echoed through the winds again.
Barely conscious, Om whispered weakly,
"Da… Dad…"
Elsewhere, Vipul, Adi, and the masked boy continued fighting desperately against the three demons. But despite their efforts, they still looked weaker compared to those monsters.
While battling the masked boy, Balasur laughed mockingly.
"Ah… two special humans and one ordinary man? Fighting you is pointless."
The next instant, Balasur slammed a brutal punch directly into the boy's stomach before immediately rushing to help Vyomasur fight Vipul.
The moment Balasur joined the battle, Vyomasur suddenly dropped to the ground and shouted toward Om,
"Come on then! Let's finish this!"
But before anyone could react—
A horrifying scream echoed through the sky.
Vipul instantly turned around in panic toward his father.
It was Dhoomketu.
And the moment Vipul saw him—
his blood froze.
A massive sharp blade of ice had pierced straight through Dhoomketu's chest.
Blood dripped down as Dhoomketu screamed in unbearable pain.
"BABA!" Vipul shouted helplessly.
At the same time, another scream echoed through the battlefield.
"Grandpa!"
But before anyone could move—
A gigantic crab-like stinger suddenly pierced through Dhoomketu's heart… tearing straight through his body from the other side.
And all Vipul and Om could hear after that…
was one final painful sound.
"Ah…"
