Soon Jin and I finished cleaning his room and sat down to relax.
"Hey Jin, thanks for everything you've done for me. I really appreciate you helping me out and being here for me. I hope we can become good friends in the future." Sitting on the floor watching the ground aimlessly. My heart heavy, mind burdened with thoughts yet somehow I feel like everything's fitting into place.
'Wonder where fate will take me in the future.' I thought as my eyes drifted from the ground to Jin and then finally out the window in his room straight to the sky.
"We're already friends and you don't need to thank me I'm sure anyone would've done the same and plus friends are meant to help each other on top of that you helped me clean my room so we can call it even." He said with a smile.
3rd pov
2 hours later
In a room two young boys around 8 years old sat on a carpet playing on a console each with a controller in hand.
The first boy a boy with blonde hair and gray eyes wearing a gray jacket and a dark blue jeans pants reaching slightly under his knee with a wry smile plastered on his face. This was Jin
The second boy with black hair and deep red eyes that added a fierce nature to him unlike that of his still immature face. He wore blue shirt that matched his dark blue long pants with the logo of his school imprinted on the front of the shirt. This was Ryouto, but unlike Jin, Ryouto seemed rather frustrated that happy.
"How are you so good at this game. I haven't even won once." Ryouto said gritting his teeth in frustration.
"This is nothing, it's just that easy." Jin bragged, making Ryouto even more frustrated.
"Hmph, I'll win against you even if it's just once." Ryouto said with determination in his voice.
A few minutes later
"KO!!" "Urgh not again!" "You give up yet? I've been playing this game since I was like 4 you're never gonna beat me playing like that."
"Hey man just because your winning doesn't mean you have to be so smug plus it's the first time I'm playing this game so I'm not accustom but I think I I'm good for now. Let's play a next time." "Oh yeah, mom should be nearly finished by now wanna head downstairs by the time?" "Yeah why not let's go."
After saying that the two headed downstairs and then into the main room. As they sat down on the couch, Jin turned on the TV with a remote and chose a movie to watch. Halfway through watching the movie though Jin's mother, Elana came in saw the two boys watching the movie and told them she was done cooking. Hearing this they both got up, walked towards the dining table and sat waiting for Elana but just then a man opened and walked through the front door of the house with a exhausted expression on his face. Looking as though he had just survived a battle field.
As everyone in the room looked at the man with blonde hair he looked up from the ground to them and said "hey kids, hey Lana what did you cook for your hardworking husband today?"
"Earl go wash your hands and then come back and ask me that." Elana spoke in a stern tone sending Earl away only to come back a few seconds later and sat down opposite Ryouto and Jin.
" So Jin you ready for training later?" Earl asked.
" Yeah you bet I am!" Jin said excitedly
"Also dad Ryouto wanted to figure out his ability. He doesn't know what exactly is his ability..."
"Isn't it obvious? His ability is disintegration or some type of destruction ability it would make sense, after digging a bit into your family I found out who your father was and his side of the family is quite wealthy and seems to have a bloodline ability rather than the random awakening we normal people have so I guess that explains what your power could possibly be but we'll still need to figure out it's limits and abilities in detail." Earl went on explaining to the two boys.
"Okay, okay eat and then talk boys." Elana said as she put three bowls of food in front of each of them and then one infront of her and sat down to eat as well only to see everyone looking at her with a weird, confused and flabbergasted expression.
"What? Is it not cooked properly?" She asked confused as to why they were looking at her as if she gave them uncooked food.
"Am well honey as much as I enjoy everything you make I would at least like to know what I'm eating.."
"Oh, I nearly forgot this is a dish from Egypt, it's called 'Koshari'. I thought I'd try a new dish today for a change but let's pray."
As they finished praying everyone began eating and in a few minutes everyone was finished. While Elana was washing the wears Ryouto and the others went to the main room and was playing uno. Around 30 minutes passed and Earl was finally ready for training Jin and figuring out Ryouto's ability.
As the scene shifts we see Ryouto, Jin and Earl outside in the backyard of the house facing each other in a triangle as the cold night wind flew past the boys and the tall man causing their blonde and black hair respectively to sway with the wind.
" So first up we should figure out your ability Ryouto so I'm gonna need you to remember exactly what you felt when you used your power earlier today. Can you do that?" Earl asked.
"Yeah I think I can." Ryouto spoke with his voice sounding rather dry. Ryouto took a breath and closed his eyes replaying the events from earlier that day and focusing on what he felt when he activated his power. Slowly he got to the point of feeling the emotions all over again until his mind was once again overwhelmed and consumed by negative emotions. Just when his emotions reached the climax a purple arua surrounded his body.
"You did it kid you can open your eyes now but hold onto those emotions and try to get familiar with the feeling of your ability." Earl said looking at Ryouto with a tint of sadness marking his face. 'it's really is sad that a boy so young has to go through something so cruel.'
Ryouto slowly opened his eyes at first he looked at Earl who was with a sympathetic face, then Jin who had one of amazement and finally the moon up in the sky. Anyone watching this scene from a outside view would have thought the boy standing there under the moon's halo looking up at it was his first love, his eyes reflecting the moon's brilliance and the glossy part in the whites of his eyes that this scene touched him or he was admiring the moon and yes they would be correct although he himself didn't know why he felt such a deep emotion looking up at the light blue full moon.
Ryouto POV:
Pulling my gaze away from the moon reluctantly I turned back to Earl "am I doing it correctly." I asked as a moved all the purple energy surrounding my body and condensed it into one ball above my palm.
"Yes just like that now let's test it with your gravity Jin." "Okay dad." The next second Jin made 6 iron balls float up from inside his palm and directed it at the orb in my hand.
When the six orbs reached my palm as the touched the orb they dissolved into dust.
"Okay so disintegration same as before. Hey launch the orb towards us." Earl said
"Are you sure?" " Yeah kid bring it on. Jin use your gravity to send the orb to the ground when it reaches half way okay." He said as he and Jin backed up.
"Okay ready, set, go!" And just like that I launched the orb towards them. Within 3 seconds the purple orb reached the halfway point and boom!! The orb slammed in the ground causing the ground to disintegrate. I felt myself losing control of the energy slowly until the orb just collapsed and the energy inside exploded outside causing the ground inside and outside of the gravity field Jin had created to disintegrate.
