Chapter 8): New Mission

As her soft lips broke him down more, he finally pulled back breathless, "Wow."
"Yeah, I just wanted to stop thinking about it and just do it." Love said with a silly smile on her face as she looked at him.
Joe meanwhile could understand why Joe had gotten lost in thought after Love had kissed him for the first time, it might have been something simple, but it still stole his breath away. Looking down at her he could see that her lips were moving but the words weren't forming in his head as all he could think about was the kiss.
It was a perfect kiss in his opinion, he hadn't had many but the one she just gave him was one he was sure that he would not be forgetting any time soon. Not that he would want to, he was hoping there would be many more after this to come when it came to the two of them.
"So, what do you say? Are you interested?" She asked her words finally getting into his ears.
"I'm sorry, could you repeat that please? That kiss seemed to take away my brain functions, so I have no clue what you just said." Joe admitted as he looked at her with a sheepish smile.
Her own smile just seemed to grow though as she looked at him, "I asked if you wanted to get lunch today, maybe meet my friends while we are at it. I think we should just rip the Band-Aid off. They're very LA, but they're also great, and... they're important to me. So..."
"Well, who in their right mind would pass up an offer like that. Of course I would love to meet your very LA friends." Joe said with a smile knowing that he didn't need to worry about things playing out the same way as in the show so he could meet them a lot earlier.
"Great. I will make sure to let them know. Now come along, we still need to find the fish that I am going to be cooking for the day." Love said with a wide smile as she grabbed his hand and took him along as she began to look over the fish she wanted.
Joe was happy to follow her as she looked, she ended up getting something that he had never heard before and had no plan to eat so it didn't really matter to him. He did love seeing her passion about cooking though, it brought a smile to his face every time he saw it.
When she finally paid, they took off after that, they separated at their cars after he walked her to hers, he would need to be at the store in a couple of hours but wanted to shower beforehand. With a chaste kiss to her lips, he watched as her car drove off before he went to his own jeep and took off to his place.
Getting to his apartments he saw that Ellie was just taking off as he got out, "Yo Joe! Where have you been all night? Find a woman who actually finds your book stuff interesting?" She joked.
"Funny. I actually met a friend this morning at the fish market so she would have something fresh to cook today." Joe smirked passing her.
"Oh 'Fish'," She said while wiggling her eyebrows, "I hope it was good." She joked one more time before she took off.
Rolling his eyes he entered the apartments and saw that Delilah was watching the interaction between him and Ellie, "What?" He asked pausing a moment as she looked him over.
"Are you a Pedophile? Are you after my sister?!! Because my threat still stands, I will cut off your balls with rusty scissors the moment you try to lay a hand on her." She threatened while glaring at him.
Joe raised his hands as he backed away towards his place, "Trust me, if I wanted any woman then it would either be the one who I am currently, well maybe dating or I would love to take you out on a date."
She glared at him as he walked away but he did see her lips twitch in what could have been a smile.
Joe would admit that if Love was into it then he would go after Delilah in a second if she allowed him to date someone else, because Delilah was just that beautiful. It was also her character though that brought his attention to her though, even after everything that had happened to her, she was still so strong.
Now raising her sister on her own because their father wasn't reliable, well he just found that all types of attractive as it just showed how good of a woman that she really was. Not a lot of people would take in their teenage siblings while trying to live in their twenties, they were more worried about their own lives.
She didn't though, it was all work and her sister instead of partying like a normal twenty-year-old.
Walking into his place he went to shower and while the water warmed up, he called out to his system, 'Draw the D-Class Gacha that I got from the second mission.'
[Drawing D-Class Gacha...]
While letting the water wash over his body he looked at the dull colors that went across his vision, from his guess the lower the class the duller the colors got. Finally, it stopped, and a sickly green ball of light was floating in front of him, he actually didn't want to touch it but in order to get it he had too.
Touching it information filled his head.
[D-Class Skill Whistling added.]
His eye twitched as he stopped drying his body as he saw what the skill was, it was something he should have expected though seeing as it was only D-Class. He couldn't expect them all to be something that would be mind altering.
All this new skill did though was make it where he could whistle any tune better, he could also mimic birds if he wanted too. Though it wasn't that big of help to him really, sighing he shook his head as he got dressed for the day, he needed to get to work.
Getting ready to leave the system spoke up again at that time which made him smile, it hadn't given him any new missions since he didn't do any pulls, but it seemed to be changing that up.
[Mission #3
Description: Love wants you to meet her friends, but with Will slowly sinking into depression because of his disorder you might not be able to meet them until later like the original Joe. Change something different about this outcome that wasn't in the story.
Reward: Random Class Pull depending on change.
Penalty: Set back with Love, Minus Affection with Love's Friends]

Description: John Kramer made it his mission to rid the world of people who did wrong and gave them the chance to change in his games. Successfully pull off a group game with individuals who a everything in common. (Must have at least 4 people!)
Reward: S-Class Gacha
Penalty: FBI is alerted of your activates.]
Joe looked at the options and wanted to know if he could do both, because while he didn't mind either he wanted to do them both and get the rewards for them. 'Hey system, can I do both?' He asked in his head a since he wanted to do both.
[...Yes.]
After a long minute the system finally spoke to him, he shrugged and accepted both then, if he could do it then he wanted to because he wanted the rewards that comes with them. While the first may be a mystery depending on what he did that didn't mean it couldn't be another A-Class or higher.
After choosing both Joe wasted no more time and took off before he was late for work, plus he was looking forward to seeing Love again.
