Authoress POV:
"I'll go get the kids". Mira said and left to get the kids that were playing in the garden. The little house built by Nelson and Xandra and maybe Max served as the perfect playground for the boys, especially 2 year old Lex and Sky (Xandra and Mira's son respectively).
Only Diamond likes to stick with her dad like glue, another person she likes so much is her brother Nelson. But Nelson is in the final year in highschool and preparing for college entrance examination so he's too busy to play with her every time.
"Hey boys,care for dinner?". Mira screamed so they could hear her amidst their play.
" Yes ma". They echoed and rushed out one by one.
" Nelson, dinner's ready ". She gently open the door so as not to disturb him.
"Can I eat later?". He asked without even breaking contact with his book.
" No".
"Guess I have to come then". He closed his book dejected.
"Do you like the food?". Mira asked as he dished more food on Lex and Sky's plate.
"Un". They nodded as they continued to savour the food.
" It's really delicious, I think I'll get fat in no time". Diamond said.
"Girls are meant to be chubby, you'll be cute". Nelson rubbed her head.
"Lie, I've never seen a chubby model". Felix countered.
" Whatever, Diamond is the cutest, right?".
"Yes, Nelson is the best".
"The house is so noisy this days, I miss those quiet days". Max said.
" Seriously,are you saying our kids and trouble makers?". Xandra countered.
"No,no way,they are the cutest, right brother-in-law?". He looked towards Drey to bail him out.
"Of course, there can't be any family that is more beautiful than ours, infact, I think we should take a picture to remember this beautiful moment". He took out his phone.
" Uncle Drey,why don't I take the picture, I just bought a new camera ". Nelson said.
" Sounds cool".
" Say cheese". He shouted as he took a selfie of the whole family, sitted round the dinning table and eating happily.
Grrn grrn grrn
" It's Uncle Jade,shhh,let me take the call ". Drey said.
" Xup man".
" Guess what man, that project I've been working on for so long, I finally found a way we can see the in between,what happens when we blink, You know that an average human blinks like...".
" Man congrats but can you narrate it later, I'm having dinner with my family,say hi to Uncle Jade ".
" Hi uncle Jade,they all echoed ".
" Hi,hi, this uncle will disturb you no longer and let you eat in peace but seriously man you need to remind me later to tell you, you won't believe...".
All the kids suddenly burst into laughter.
