It had been 15 days.
Fifteen days when time didn't seem normal anymore. It wasn't measured in hours or days anymore but by the piles of files that kept getting bigger, the weight of the papers, and the lack of sleep. Papers piled up on Raven's desk, and before she could even clear them, new ones came in. Meetings ran into each other and went on forever, making it hard to tell the difference between morning and evening.
She didn't let herself stop.
She got Secretary Wan, Director Yu, and a few other people who wanted to help her to work towards a single goal. The legal department, which used to be calm and in charge, was now very stressed. People read clauses over and over, took them apart, and then wrote them again. There was no doubt left after checking every detail.
This was no longer getting ready. It had turned into a fight.
