Asmodeus found himself struggling to hold back his laughter, gazing into the dull brown eyes of his transformed wife, who could barely hide her killing intent. It was like a wave of almost tangible force ebbing and flowing around her body.
'I thought Riel was the more rational succubus!?'
"You're enjoying this."
"Hm?"
Riel tilted her head innocently.
Asmodeus stared at her.
"You've been smiling ever since that bastard started following us."
"I haven't noticed anyone following us, Master."
"...Riel."
"What?"
Riel's lips twisted into the most seductive, plump red as she pointed towards a narrow alleyway beside them. It was dark, cramped between two ageing buildings and barely illuminated by the distant orange glow of the harbour lamps.
'Oh...'
Asmodeus understood immediately.
So that was another reason she'd been so eager to come with him.
His eyes briefly returned to the reflection in one of the darkened shop windows.
