Inside the wooden palace, the tiny body of Dame Wasp hovered above her new life-scale body, which lay motionless inside an alloy sarcophagus. A transparent glass cover sealed the chamber, its surface doubling as a translucent touchscreen monitor that displayed streams of information about the body beneath it.
curse circuit activity, curse energy circulation, vibration signatures, structural integrity, and dozens of other parameters flickered across the glass, updating in real time. Beneath the transparent cover, the new body looked almost lifelike, its artificial muscles and mechanical components concealed beneath a layer of synthetic flesh designed to mimic a living body.
Around her, the Speclime trio, Specarc, Specorc, and Specwork, stared intently at the mechanical marvel they had created. The rhythmic intensity of their body's bio-luminous circuit imprints expressed their emotions, ranging from fascination to barely contained excitement.
