At Aksai's Side
A few minutes before Mirelle's death.
When Aksai sensed that Kanis and the remaining imperial cultivators had been successfully trapped, he silently activated the half-baked Formation Genie he had prepared for the modified formation.
The response was immediate.
Deep within the Woodland Devil's Den, the formation's numerous components began coordinating more efficiently. The scattered mechanisms that had previously relied on preset responses and carefully arranged conditions were brought together under a rudimentary governing consciousness.
It wasn't a true Formation Genie comparable to those found in proper Fourth Order formations. Aksai hadn't had enough time to develop anything even remotely that sophisticated, and the limitations of the formation itself made such an achievement impractical.
Nevertheless, the half-baked Formation Genie could perform the tasks he needed it to.
