Chapter 132: That Ruined Chrysanthemum

When Bai Liangfeng heard their conversation, he was already scared shitless. He twisted on the floor and shouted, "Zhang Yang, you bastard! You lied to me! Didn't you say if I confessed, you'd let me go?"

Zhang Yang took the video and audio recordings from Old Yi, glanced at Bai Liangfeng, and sneered, "From beginning to end, when did I ever say I'd let you go?"

"You bastard! You said it! Fine… maybe you didn't say it, but you implied it! That's why I confessed!" Seeing Ah Gou's men holding those leashed, horny male mutts, Bai Liangfeng broke out in a cold sweat. Even an idiot could tell what they were about to do.

Zhang Yang ignored him, nodded at Ah Gou and Old Yi. Old Yi picked up the camera, while Ah Gou signaled his men to move. They dragged over a long bench, tied Bai Liangfeng onto it with his ass sticking up. One man grinned wickedly, yanked off his pants, and poured some foul-smelling liquid on his bare ass, explaining, "Got this from a female dog in heat…"

"Now enjoy yourself!"

Ah Gou waved his hand, and two burly men released a male dog that had long been straining to go. It lunged forward immediately…

Meanwhile, Old Yi pressed record, a malicious smile on his lips.

"Zhang Yang, you bastard… this isn't over… mmph…"

No one knew how long later—when Bai Liangfeng finally woke up again, he found himself surrounded by darkness, locked in what seemed like a small black room. He couldn't even see his hand in front of his face. When he moved, searing pain shot through his asshole—it felt torn apart.

He realized his hands and feet were free now. Standing up shakily, tears of humiliation streamed down his face. Cursing Zhang Yang under his breath, he groped along the wall until a faint light appeared—a projection on the wall.

He blinked and realized—it was a video.

It was his confession video. Clearly edited, it showed him confessing alone—how he, Peng Peng, and Matsuda Kawataro gang-raped He Mei, used a husky on her, uploaded the video, framed Professor Hai, then moved on to how he ordered He Tiancheng to hire a hitman against Uncle He Ting and later to kill Ah Ye to silence him, and finally exposing his father and the Du Family's plot to assassinate Zhang Yang.

When that ended, the next video started—it showed his humiliation: himself naked, tied to the bench, as three male dogs took turns violating him… until he passed out.

The first two videos could ruin his life; the last one would destroy his soul.

Before he could finish watching, he lost it completely, rolling on the floor and screaming, "Zhang Yang, you bastard! Kill me! I'll never forgive you, even in death!"

"Dying's too easy." A voice he feared more than anything came from the side—it was Zhang Yang.

Suddenly, the lights flicked on. The bright glare hit his eyes, forcing him to squint. As he raised a hand to block the light, he saw Zhang Yang, Ah Gou, and the others sitting in front of him, watching him like a dead dog.

"Zhang Yang, you son of a bitch—"

Zhang Yang looked calm, his tone cold. "How is it? Those three videos—pretty entertaining, right?"

"They're fake! All fake!" Bai Liangfeng screamed, lunging toward him—but stumbled and fell. That's when he realized there was a shackle on his ankle, chaining him to the wall.

"I could kill you easily and quietly," Zhang Yang said slowly, pressing the play button again. "But I don't want to dirty my hands. I spent one night digging through your family's dirt. Like the murder of Boss Sun from Lingnan Province, who supplied your family with medicine last year. Or that time you crippled your classmate Deng Gao from Shangyan County. I've got no proof, but I'm sure the cops will be eager to find some."

Bai Liangfeng collapsed to the ground. "How… how do you know all that…"

"It's morning," Zhang Yang said casually, stretching. He looked at Bai Liangfeng and said lightly, "You can go now."

He motioned for them to unlock the shackles. The door opened, and cold morning light spilled in, making Bai Liangfeng shiver.

"I can really go?" Bai Liangfeng stared at the open door in disbelief, mumbling to himself. Last night had been the most humiliating, miserable night of his life. Zhang Yang now held evidence that could destroy him forever. What would he do?

What could he do?

No one stopped him. The open door loomed like the gaping jaws of a demon, waiting for him.

"Might as well die." The thought echoed in his head. Better to end it than live in this agony and disgrace.

He looked at Zhang Yang, who was turning to leave, and muttered, gathering the courage to ask, "What will it take for you to let me go?"

Zhang Yang stopped, turned back, and asked, "When you did those things, did you ever think about letting them go?"

Bai Liangfeng lowered his head, silent for a while, then looked up again. "You're letting me go now—aren't you afraid I'll come after you?"

"Afraid? Of what? That you'll twist the truth again using your father's power? I'll wait," Zhang Yang said with a faint smile.

Bai Liangfeng said nothing more. His heart was full of hatred, but he didn't know how to take revenge.

He returned home without issue, only to learn about Zhang Yang's attack. The police were investigating, and his father, Bai Wensheng, had already been listed as a suspect and was under twenty-hour surveillance.

But that wasn't the worst part. Early that morning, both he and his father received numerous threatening calls, warning them to keep quiet—or they'd die horribly. Some callers were rich second-generation friends; others were officials who had benefited from them. None were people they could afford to offend.

If that wasn't bad enough, more news came: someone had hired assassins to deal with them—especially from Spade Eight. The case had grown too big, and those involved wanted them silenced.

Father and son sat locked in their study, smoking endlessly, cigarette butts piling high on the floor, neither speaking.

"The company's stock hit limit-down the moment the market opened."

"Shiteng says we can cancel the order, but we still have to pay 30%—four hundred million in cash."

"The minor shareholders want an emergency meeting to strip me of my chairman position."

"Those higher-ups said if we expose them, we won't survive prison either."

"According to reliable sources, there are already over eight groups out there hunting us."

...

Bai Wensheng spoke calmly while Bai Liangfeng listened silently. After a long while, he finally looked up and asked, "Can't the Du Family help us? If we fall, they'll be the first dragged down."
