Although Mark would regularly send back some news, Yang Ruxin still wanted to see with her own eyes how the devoted elder was doing after all these years.
The Du Family originally wanted to send a carriage, but Yang Ruxin declined. She had already rented a carriage yesterday, though she took Du Juan's maid Xiangru out with her.
As she left the Du Family's residence, she saw the carriage parked at the alley entrance as expected.
The driver was surnamed Sun and was the fourth child in his family, so everyone called him Sun Fourth. He was resting against the carriage but immediately looked over when he sensed someone coming out from the alley. Upon recognizing Yang Ruxin, he quickly jumped down, saying, "Madam, young miss."
"You've been here for a while?" Yang Ruxin nodded.
"Not too long," Sun Fourth chuckled and set down the footstool.
